I had my birthday lunch in this place. It looks so unassuming from the outside but the food is topnotch! They use all the right ingredients on their sushi. The rice is perfectly made and the fish is fresh. They also serve Asahi beer which made the lunch extra special for me. It's a no nonsense straightforward high quality sushi place that I'm sure to come back to.
We normally don’t post reviews, but this place definitely deserves our and your attention. We’ve been to about 15 to 20 sushi restaurants, but the quality of this place is “on top of their game”. The sushi is super fresh and beautifully served. It is a small shop with, I believe a family that is running the restaurant which are very welcoming and friendly folks.
Legit so tasty. We were greeted in such a friendly way. Reminded me of good Toronto sushi! We will be back!
Yokozuna Sushi is a small and humble restaurant, although along the main road of Torstraße, they do not seem to receive enough attention. The sushi here is fresh and made to order. The chef portions the amount of rice and ingredients well while prices are reasonable. The restaurant is not large, but it does contain at least ten to twelve tables, although larger groups may need to make reservations. I'd consider Yokozuna a little secret location of Berlin. And if you're visiting for dinner, do not be mistaken by the dark and what may seem like a closed restaurant. From afar it may look closed when it actually isn't. So don't walk away when you're still a distance away, get a closer look and you'll see that it is open. It isn't the most expensive sushi restaurant you will find in Berlin, but it is a good trade off to a much higher priced Japanese restaurant that also makes fresh sushi. There is no need to burn a hole in your pocket for good and legitimate sushi in Berlin.
A wonderful experience. The atmosphere was calm, the service was incredibly fast without being demanding, and very friendly. the food itself was presented impeccably and the taste was just as impressive. The portion sizes seemed perfect. I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you!Food: 5/5

Such a lovely place, the sushi is delicious and it’s a very nice relaxed vibe.
Just love it. The food is fresh, super tasty, prices are very ok when you think of that quality. Only one thing, the very one thing, is that this quite small restaurant is located on a pretty crowded street. Sitting outside is ok, yet, mind that if you want to be surrounded by calmness this may be not the optimal place. However, the sushi is worth it. I had the Rain Bow sushi, 8 pieces, for 11€. Super tasty.
One of the best sushi restaurant in Berlin. Only one train station from the Alexanderplatz. Very friendly workers with high quality foods.
Fresh foods. Friendly owner. Excellent Japanese plats. Best quality. Thank you for this diner.
