I had recently relocated to York when I joined Tamsin Yoga in York Class - having been going to the same yoga classes for many years where I previously lived, it was important for me that I found somewhere welcoming, supportive and a class that offered variety. I am really pleased to say I have loved every class I have done with Tamsin. I have tried the Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday classes and I would recommend them all. I have grown in confidence, laughed along the way, my core strength has improved, I feel more and more relaxed for every week that goes on and it is now an important part of me taking care of my mind and body. I would recommend to anyone!

I love going to Tamsin’s classes. I always feel less stressed and more comfortable in my body afterwards. I joined as an absolute beginner in September 2021, and felt welcome from the very beginning. The structure and pace of the classes are spot on, starting with breathing techniques and warm up stretches, followed by strength-building and balancing exercises. The final relaxing part is always creative and calming. Every week, I feel that I’m developing my flexibility and my ability to practice mindfulness. I particularly enjoy the friendly and supportive atmosphere of the class, and the location in the city centre is ideal for me. Tamsin is a very attentive, patient and friendly yoga teacher. Highly recommended.
Tamsin is a sensitive and highly skilled teacher. She had a class to suit every ability. I’ve really improved since I started 3 years ago, physically but mostly mentally. She has helped me develop my ability to be in the moment and savour every movement.
I joined Tamsin’s yoga class around four years ago when I was experiencing back pain and migraine headaches and joining yoga has improved my health, flexibility and I always leave class feeling great. When I first joined as a beginner I was nervous about whether I could keep up with other more experienced yogis but Tamsin always gives lots of options so you can take an easy variation, really challenge yourself or just simply relax and breathe. Classes are easy to book and Tamsin always makes people feel welcome. Yoga has turned into a passion for me now and I always look forward to class, to relax, grow and surprise myself with some challenging poses and I usually leave calm in body and mind.
I joined the class new to living in York. From the start Tamsin welcomed me to her classes with her warm and encouraging approach. This is one of the best yoga classes I have ever done. Tamsin goes at the pace of the class, ensuring we are fully warmed up and stretched, each week building on what we have done creating some great flow movements over the weeks. Tamsin is a very experienced and knowledgable teacher and I feel great after each session, as if I have had a great workout but by the end totally relaxed. The classes have helped me, over time, become more flexible, stronger and confident. I can’t recommmed her classes highly enough - so new or old to yoga you will find something for you, the class are friendly and now I wouldn’t miss it for anything!
Tamsin's classes are always fun, challenging and clearly carefully planned. They're suitable for all levels so if you're feeling as if you'd like to take it easy, you can but can also push yourself a little further if that's what you want. The relaxation at the end is always fab : Highly recommend!!
