My 13 year old daughter participated in the LIT and CIT programs this summer and can’t express what a great experience it was for her! Not only did she have a great time and enjoyed the learning and responsibility, but I was blown away by the skills that were taught such as interview skills, first aid/cpr and general leadership! This program really fills the gaps that we don’t see in the schools and helps prep our youth for the start of their future!!
Better they updates there gym equipment replaced some with better mechanicnnBut why did y’all remove the mirror do you not want people to be flexing ?nnAnd why did y’all remove the scale that was in the male chage room that’s weird there was no good reason to remove itnnAnd why are the change rooms hot as hell turn the ac on it was not like this last year arond the same time last thing I want to do is go in the chage room already hot then go in there and feel the heat of 20 suns all y’all have is one small fan that needs to be cleanednnThey are updating the tiles around the pool witch would be good if the pool was open for longer then 3 hours like why can’t I go in the pool after a workout you want me to go therennThey are updating some stuff but then removing good stuffnnAnd clean your fans its not that hard to make a indeed ad then hire people who want the job or put a sine up saying we are hiring for a cleanernnOh and you tell me to email you witch when I did y’all did not respond so your only saying they to look good
Swimming lessons are terrible. This was our 1st lesson with YMCA in NB after 3 years with the aquatic program in Bracebridge. Things my children passed last year in Bracebridge were failed here when they can do them. The instructor do not know how to keep the attention of children and make lessons fun. My son didn’t even get the full session as they don’t extent a week for lessons that fall on holidays when the facility is closed. I bought an annual membership for my kids thinking they would continue lessons but I do not think lessons here are worth it. Big thumb down!! Incredibly disappointed as it is closer then Bracebridge but I think the extra drive is worth it for smaller class sizes and staff that engage, encourage, and want to be there.
I love it here! They have a two week free trial and I will definitely be continuing my membership. Clean facilities, lots of options for workout equipment - slightly crowded in the gym and pool but I did go on a Sunday. Staff are amazing
Terrible, come here to swim with children kids pool is closed no choice but to put 4yr Olds and under in big pool , they don't tell you the pool is closed until you've already paid full price and walk into the pool what a piss off
