My husband and I go to Niagara on the lake frequently but have never had Gyros on the Lake - we decided to stop in for a quick lunch and wow, we were not disappointed!! The restaurant is so cozy and the lady working there was very helpful and the service was A+. We ordered and she brought it to our table. For the price you get so much food. The gyro was incredible, full of flavour and lots of meat. And the fries were crispy and delicious. Will definitely come here again!
This is a lovely street, attracts lots of tourism. That brings us to the challenge. Finding an affordable place that serves great food is always difficult in such tourist spots. When exploring this street, if you would rather prefer you grab great food, this is the restaurant to go. I would not advice dining there. But take away to the park adjacent. Or sit by the streets enjoying the view. The food is fresh, delicious. And less waiting time.
The gyros on pita was good, but the falafels were baked and falls apart very easily. Fries and salad were meh. Note that there’s not a lot of seating so they are mostly for takeout only!
This place is incredible. My buddies and I were really craving something decently healthy but also something delicious, so here we are. Everything we got tasted incredible, and above all, the staff were super friendly. Every single one of them. I had a great experience and highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in town.
The food here is soooo good and the prices are really good too. Staff is friendly and the food was made quickly. There isn't much space to eat inside so I wouldn't plan on sitting down, but there's lots of nearby parks/tables. Go for the greek fries, they are delicious! Definitely will come back here next time I'm in NOTL
Needed a quick bite without having to deal with busy lines and queues at restaurants. Tasty food, big portions, good service. Ordered the chicken platter that was big enough for at least two people. Chicken is well seasoned, fries were crispy almost Costco like, the pita warmed and soft. Prices seemed reasonable. They only have one table spot to eat in, else you'll just have to get it for takeout. Lots of parks nearby to sit and eat at
My family and I went to Gyros on the Lake today and had an incredible experience. We ordered the Spanakopita and the Family Meal Beef and Lamb, and it was delicious. Better yet, we were treated like family. Do yourself a favor and give Gyros on the Lake your patronage. You will not be disappointed. Can’t wait to see my new friends at Gyros on the Lake again very soon!!!!!!!!
Literally the best gyro I’ve ever had!! I got the combo with French fries and a drink, the fries were also some of the best I’ve ever had! So crispy and the perfect amount of flavour...not greasy at all! The gyro was just as good, will definitely be back!
Not many places for work crews to get lunch in NOTL but this checks all the boxes! Super fast! Great value and really delicious. I couldn’t be more impressed :
Go here. You won’t regret it. Such a friendly little place. We were lucky to be able to have the only table but there are plenty of street benches to eat on outside. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My toddler dropped his toy under the fridge and the server couldn’t have done more to retrieve it for him. Delicious fresh food. Good prices. Quick service. Great quality. And we left with some free fries and a candy for the kid. Lovely!
