One of our best experience at Courtney. The Greeks atmosphere and friendly staff plus variety of cuisine tests make your night. The meal portion was huge . Baklava was delicious. The only that I can say , meat was a little salty . It's not cheap but worth the price
Best meal out in a while. We got the platter. Serve 2 adults and 2 kids. Was so good. Every last drop. We left very full. Which also is rare at many restaurants now. Could have taken some home for left overs but all food tastes best fresh and as had no way to reheat it as we were passing through. Kids also loved it. We wish we had this place where we lived. The pictures don’t do it justice. I didn’t take a picture of the full platter. It came with a bit of everything and again it was all good. There tzatziki is also really flavourful. Want it again tonight. Also the server was really really good and managed all the tables well. Way better than I’ve seen in a while.
Assorted Methezes for $36 is a worthy eye-popping plate of big portions. so worth it feeds 4 for sure. Vegan lemon tart has a wonderful nutty crust. Heads up, access to ladies washrooms needs a key from staff. Vegetarian options: Whole vegan menu Parking: Parked across the street
Had their chicken souvlaki. The chicken thigh meat was grilled and tasty. The entree came with tzatziki sauce, grilled veggies, rice, potatoes, and a small helping of greek salad. After ordering our meal arrived within 15 minutes. The service was great!Food: 4/5
Fabulous service and fantastic food! The best calamari we have ever tasted! Vegetarian moussaka to die for and perfectly cooked lamb souvlaki as well. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Our meal was perfection. Vegetarian Mousakka, Spanakopita, Black Olive dip, stuffed mushrooms, salad, pita, white wine. All of it delicious, and the staff are so sweet! I really want to go back asap.
Just had take out tonight. Spanakopita dinner and chicken souvlaki dinner. Good size portions. Items that were very good. Greek potatoes, grilled vegetables, chickenvery good. Things that were poorly done. Ricebland, no flavor, Greek saladvery little flavor, Spanakopitawas greasy and didn't seem to have any cheese in it, tasted ok, Tzatziki saucestrange texture. I would give them another try. Could of been an off day for them, Most of their other reviews are great.
Could be a lot better but it’s the only full service Greek restaurant in the valley so it’s a bit overrated. Read the menu carefully before ordering. The chicken is mostly dark meat, not white meat. The potatoes are great, the rice is mediocre, the “Greek salad” is mostly just tomatoes. They’ve also made mistakes with two of my last three orders, so if you’re ordering takeout, check it before you leave.
Early supper with family. Ordered the platter for a table of five and added the spinach dip. More than enough and it was great. So glad we found you. It will become the place to go for good greek food when we are in town. What a treat!!
I seen so many great reviews I was hopeful...we ordered the appie sampler platter it was delicious . I don't eat calamari and there was a lot of it my partner said it was great . There was 2 of all other items . The dolmades were very meaty the lemon sauce perfection . The spanokipita very thick. I loved the taziki dip very fresh and smooth. We added a humus dip also tasted fresh . Everything was bigger than most ive had at greek restaurants. Wish now we stopped there . The service was great all night except they didn't deal with our issue other than to mention it to the cook who disagreed . The portions were large on everything . The prices are fair when you see amounts . The main dishes are on large plates . There was the most beautiful carrots beautiful color so big they were cooked to perfect texture took a bite of whole one ...should spit it out my partner did . It was moldy tasting . I love herbs on my food . I'm not sure if some how there was a moldy carrot or the spices were off .cook did confirm they used a dry spice and I could see how it could happen . But no alternate veggie offered or fresh batch of carrots that taste good offered . Than I got hits of it in my stuffed chicken which otherwise was very lovely flavor, so I do think it was the thyme. At first I was doubting my taste buds with chicken but about halfway thru it happened with a whole bite . I didn't bother to complain again as it hadn't been dealt with in carrots . Just a lesson learned everything else tasted great . My partners soulvalki meal was otherwise delicious Again the servers were very diligent. No one else seemed to be spitting out their carrots I'm not sure how it could have been just our order . I will dream of the appy platter but we probably won't go back . Also it might be helpful to just hang bathroom key on the wall inside restaurant nwar the lobby door so you don't have to track down a server.
