Had a contract lined up later in the year 2023 but went to them to look for something in the meantime. Had 2 appointments in 4 months, nothing was done at all on their end and when I emailed to tell them to forget about it as my contract would be starting the person tried to take credit for the contract I had before registering with them. When I corrected her about it she then admitted she never had me on her active client list..... My time was wasted going to those appointments for no reason what so ever.
Useless agency and service. Another Fed. Liberal funding grabbing agency that only helps newcomers. Your registration only help them get more funding for their salaries but they don't offer any real help for you. Self bragging/attention seeking consultants, liked to show off their good lives and experiences during an appointment that were irrelevant for helping clients' employment. Teaching on some outdated 'current knowledge' that has been used by general public. Been with this YES for years, but received 2 emails a year from the consultant. That is the help I got.
The consultant transfer my case to second career program to see if I could enrolled any program, unfortunately I only qualified one online program but they don’t have schedule to let me know when the program will be done.nThe consultant from second career told me I need enrolled college in Canada to able to get a job.nI had bachelor degree and evaluated it, why I need to enrolled college, I would like to enrolled online courses in any universities but she said second career program only sponsored for college. One year programnSo many Online course in University only one year program also.nSo I don’t get any chance to enrolled in college after I ask them sponsor me for Micro credentials online course, it is only cost 150. But they don’t. They said Micro credentials not provide and even I got a Micro credentials certificate still couldn’t help me get a job.nIt is very prejudice even consultant told me because my degree not in Canada and I don’t work in the Canada.nActually I have worked in Toronto before but I decide not show on my Resume.nAfter I think about that should write down this experience on my resume to able get some Interviews.nIf you not from there you don’t have any chance to get a job, like my husband he is bilingual English &French he only have one interview opportunity in North Bay and in the interview same day he finish his interview he saw someone driving a truck, it is mean that company has been hired someone to be truck driver already,my husband went there just for show.nI feel not treat fairly and my husband too, we are relocate to other place to start our new life.

She is very professional and friendly, and she provided a lot of information about the job search, tailoring a resume and cover letter, preparing for interviews. She assisted me with every question I had throughout my journey and helped me to find a job! Very grateful!
Always helpful and kind staff. They help me when I need it and when I don't.
