Giving them 4-stars simply for their customer service. I had a reservation there for one night and when I arrived and started setting up my unit I encountered some mechanical issues which would prevent me from camping there (no heater in 30 degree weather and snow.) The woman at the front desk was very understanding and did her part in ultimately helping me finding an alternative place to stay without costing me an arm and a leg. They may not have the amenities that the other koa has, but their employees are top notch!

Our family of 4 loved it here we stayed for 5 nights. Great staff. Clean cabin. The beds were not very comfortable so bring extra blankets and pillows. Our microwave didn't work. Which we needed because that's what we used to sanitize babies bottle but no big deal. Some one stole our kindle and fire wood the first night. Thankfully the staff replaced it for us. The water was super hot too This was a great location for us it was very close to the yellow stone entrance and better lodging compared to the ones in town next to the entrance. Those looked pretty awful.

My family made reservations a while back for the West Yellowstone KOA. I have 2 teenage boys and they were happy that they had a pool. Upon our arrival we were told that we were booked at the companion KOA down the road. Upon our arrival we found out that they had limited amenities, no pool and the tent camping was heavily rutted and very small. We drove 16 hours non stop to get here. Our plans are to go to see the solar eclipse so the park wasn't in the plans. When I asked the staff if there was any way that the boys could use the pool at the other site, I was told no. The owner owns both sites and prohibits the guests from this site from using the other site pool. There isn't anything for teenagers at this site. Not much on customer service, even less on amenities. I'm pretty unhappy with the facility and I can say that they will not get anymore money. I won't ever come back here again.

Great KOA to stay and visit Yellowstone. The bathrooms and showers were clean especially at full capacity. The staff was nice and knowledgeableabout the area. The only con was that they have a wood sculptor that uses a chainsaw. He makes fantastic art but, you'll hear that chainsaw in the morning before you leave and hear it again until 7 or 8 pm depending on where you are in the park.

Everything was so nice but a small suggestion that if they had more than 10 gallons of hot water every day in the morning which at max covers 1.5 persons bath. I pay 250-280$ so I expect not to go out for bath. I know they had restroom outside but we wanted to have inside and paid good amount but was little disappointed. You guys might want to have room service every day because we are need of it and also to pickup trash. Other than that front desk people were sweet and helpful Everytime.
