Story

We are a locally owned Micro Brewery. Our specialty is brewing beer.

Yellowhead is an Edmonton owned and operated community based brewery which engages with local small businesses, arts and cultural organizations. The brewery was designed by local architect Gene Dub and houses state of the art equipment making it arguably the finest production facility within Edmonton. Come for a tour and we will prove it to you!

In addition, Yellowhead has a unique event space which can be rented for private functions. It is perfect for parties of all kinds, from birthdays to weddings, corporate events, and networking functions.

Our tasting room is open Thursday thru Saturday 11:00am-9:00pm. We offer all our pints on tap as well as in house smoked meat sandwiches. Call ahead to reserve a keg and book a tour of our brewery!

Our current beer is Yellowhead Premium Lager.

Yellowhead's history dates back to 1894 as the first ever commercially produced beer in Edmonton. Today the beer has been reinvented and revitalized by a team of passionate local craft beer mavericks. Today's Yellowhead Premium Lager is a naturally carbonated brilliant German Style Lager. On the palate it is crisp with a gentle malt sweetness. Fresh grassy hops aromas lead to a delicate complexity and a refreshing smooth finish.

The beer has no preservatives, and is made with only four ingredients ensuring that it is characterized by purity and quality.
