Having your pictures done by Ashley is like having a very talented family member take them. You instantly feel comfortable, like you've known each other forever, and it's incredibly relaxed. We had both maternity studio and newborn at home lifestyle photo sessions done, which can be stressful with a toddler and then a newborn added. Both went amazing. Our toddler loved Ashley, and kept talking about her for weeks. The photos she captured were incredible and of course we mainly me couldn't choose a subset so we purchased the whole lot because they were all so beautiful. Ashley is super friendly, professional, and very understanding when it came to my mommy brain moments. You can't help but feel totally at ease around her. Her studio was lovely, I truly appreciated the curated wardrobe, and she took every precaution to make sure covid protocols were followed. Her helpful guidelines and tips for the sessions were appreciated. Ashley, you are an absolute gem! Thank you for beautifully capturing my little family.
My husband and I are so happy we found Yellow Brick Road Photography. Ashley works incredibly well with children and was able to capture our son perfectly for his birthday cake smash photos. She has a wonderful selection of outfits and her studio is warm, welcoming and very clean. We also appreciated the Covid protocols she has in place. This made us feel safe bringing our infant son to get these photos taken. Ashley is very professional and is quick to respond to questions and also provide detailed information. Ashley is a master in her craft! She made us all feel comfortable from the moment she walked into our house. From examining the spaces to offering suggestions on poses while also incorporating our own requests, made for an extremely enjoyable experience. The way she is able to handle a newborn so efficiently while transitioning between the poses was super impressive. I read another review that said Ashley feels like a member of your family and that couldn’t be more true. The level of comfort she provides while making you feel like you already knew each other is exactly what I want for an at home service. Our daughter was the 6th child in our extended family to be photographed by Ashley and now I know why! Photos and wall canvases turned out amazing. We recently used Ashley for our sons first birthday cake smash shoot. We had so much fun, and Ashley was so great. She was so organized and took care of it all. The cake, the location, the toys, the outfit, and even the wipes! My son being a “covid baby” can sometimes be shy, and nervous around other people but Ashley approached him super calmly, and let him take the time to get to know her and get comfortable. He smiled the entire session, and was loving every minute of it. We were very happy with Ashley, and hope to use her again in the future. If you’re even slightly considering it, run don’t walk! Ashley was amazing to work with. We used her services for both our newborn and one year/cake smash photos. Her studio is amazing too. It was so nice to just show up and she took care of the rest - baby's outfit, cake, and backdrop. The photos are beautiful and I love her bright/neutral aesthetic!
