Ye Olde Squire

Started working around the corner from here about 3 months ago and have visited a handful of times already. In my line of work I entertain a lot of clients and eat at a lot of restaurants. I am also a local guide on google to share my experiences with others to better their experience. That should give you an idea that I’ve been around the block. I must say this place is impressive! I’ll start with the staff, both guys working here are very good at their job, have excellent multitasking skills and pay attention to detail. The main bartender/server is a rockstar, he’s on the ball every time I come and the young guy he has been training is a fast learner and shows excellent potential. It’s very refreshing to see guys hustle as hard as they do and yet still remain cool, calm, collected and most of all friendly. The food, everything I have eaten here has been so good! From the salads to the new Asiago chicken sandwich and of course the wings with the delicious Parm fries! A little bit of a heads up to the manager, every onion ring or fry order should come with that amazing chipotle sauce you serve with just the onion rings. It’s soooo good! In closing I would just like to thank the 2 gentlemen who work here for making my lunch a pleasure. I will continue to support this establishment moving forward and be very happy doing it! I was here just before Christmas with old friends from High school. Ever had Dill pickle soup? Me either, but omg was the best soup I have tasted in a long time. Was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be back for that. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. I would recommend Ye Old Squire to anyone looking for that old home comfort food.

A lovely family lunch. Children's menu was ample, delicious fish and chips, liver and onion excellent. The service was fast and our server was so nice. Plenty of parking to top it off.

Meal was very tasty. Glasgow burger and Irish nachos. We each had a dessert brownie and sticky pudding. We each enjoyed. I would recommend this place. Service was top notch too.

This place was fantastic. Seated quickly. Staff was very friendly and helpful w making meal choices. The food was over the top. We will make this a stop in the future whenever we are in the area!!

I ordered the fish and chips, the fish was okay, but the fries were awesome! Service was great. Lots of items on the menu to choose from. I would definitely go back again.

We had a great meal here. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. They have glass dividing all the tables and booths and they thoroughly cleaned the tables and chairs after people left. We had fish and chips, they were very yummy. Not to greasy with a great portion size. I will definitely return.

Love coming here when I am visiting my mom in Burlington. The food is always good, the beer cold the service excellent. It's a place you can count on.

Had a lovely evening out with friends tonight at Ye Olde Squire. Our first time there. I had the Meatloaf Wellington, my wife had Fish n Greek Salad, our friends, Fish n Chips and Shepherd's Pie. We all enjoyed our meals. Nice atmosphere, we could hear each other talk without raising our voices. Our server was great. We will ne back.

We sent back our iced teas 3 times and it tasted like minty soap everytime. Food felt weird going down, and about an hour after we left the vomitting started. Squires isn't the same quality is used to be : the server was lovely though!
