Not as fancy as the camping next door, but good service and location.

Went there for snowshoeing on the free winter day. It was a nice walk. I would day snowshoes are not needed, small spikes will do. The trails are easy and good to follow. I would recommend for a place not far from MTL.

This place is good for spending a day relaxing, especially if you have young kids. There are some very easy hiking trails - so easy that they are more like a walk in the park (accessible to strollers). For cyclists, they have a nice long bike path. The official beach is good for little ones. Mature swimmers may want to walk a bit toward the boat rental place and use the unofficial beach instead. Warning: the water from taps and fountains at the service centres/comfort stations isn't always drinkable but sometimes they forget to put signs up. I suggest you bring a water cooler to avoid having to buy bottled water to stay hydrated.

Park is clean and well organized. Large campsites located in a forest, near a lake. Biking and hiking trails run through the park. There is also a day use area with a beach.
