Was so excited.. got my food, was disappointed.. chow mein was just Romen nuddles half cooked with smoked fire taste.. 2nd ordrer was teriyaki chicken ... I got over sweeten, Safeway chicken soup.. chow mein chicken has zero flavor.. couldn't eat the so-called teriyaki ginger type chicken.. prices were good, the service was good. Will never come back.
They have a very extensive dim sum selection, as well as noodle, meat and vegetable dishes. Had some assorted dim sum items including their Xiao Long Bao, House Sui Mai pork, Seafood with Chive Dumpling, Chicken Feet, Mash Yam Tempura, BBQ Pork Chow Mein, and Egg Custard Bun. The buns had a sweet filling and were a nice way to end the meal, and we enjoyed the yam tempura dish. All the dumplings were of decent size and not too salty. Service was fine, and the food came out in a reasonable time. Price point was roughly $20/pp with taxes and tip. We weren't very impressed with the Shrimp Rice Roll. It was rather flat and small in size, thinly wrapped with minimal shrimp. Also, the photos for the dumplings are deceiving as many feature 5 in a basket, when only 4 are given there's a note on the menu that the pictures are for reference only. It would be more helpful and accurate to show the actual number of 'items' one would receive, as it helps customers to plan their order number based on the number of people in their party.
We've been here for dim sum twice and were blown away both times. The food is so delicious, fresh and authentic, the restaurant is clean and the owner is very sweet. I am so thankful to have a restaurant like this in kelowna. Would highly recommend the dumplings har gow, siu mai and deep fried, yang Zhou fried rice, gai Lan and salt and pepper ribs.
The service, food, and atmosphere are excellent! The staff are accommodating, the food is very tasty and not very oily. Highly recommend General Tso's Chicken, House Special Fried Rice, and Wonton in Chili Oil for the spicy lovers. Loved the family-style menu and the great-value prices for such generous servings/portions! Definitely will come back!
This place is great! I came for take out when they were busy and I didn't leave myself enough time for them to finish the order. I had to leave to do something. When I came back two hours later to reorder, they just remade my food fresh! And the food was tasty and quick, with lots of veggies and not too greasy. Recommend if you're near the airport for some reason and want some tasty Chinese food.
We have been here several times for dim sum. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious and there is a large selection of menu items to choose from. Michelle takes excellent care of her guests. The premises are clean and bright. Parking is available right outside the door.Food: 5/5
We found it on Google while looking for somewhere near the airport to eat. The restaurant was a bit chilly for my liking but that isn’t part of my review. From the wonton soup to the chow mein, beef and broccoli and ginger chicken EVERYTHING was tasty, fresh and cooked just right. Service was fast and friendly and price is very reasonable… highly recommend, we will definitely go back.
The food I got here was amazing. I got the salt and pepper chicken with a dish of rice on the side, and I asked the waitress to make it as spicy as possible. The dish was very spicy, and she even gave me some chili oil on the side! Great service! I didn't have to wait very long for the food despite the restaurant being busy. The portion was also a very good size. I have enough for two meals! Vegetarian options: The menu appeared to have a lot of vegetarian options as well!
This is the best Asian cuisine ever. Ever ever ever ever. We usually have diner on holidays in Edmonton Vancouver all northern BC. This is the best. ChongQing in Vancouver was our favourite, and this trumps the service and quality. Keep up the good work and there’s no failing. We will be back on holidays again. We love our spicy green beans.
We had a lovely time at Xing Yun for my birthday this year! We ordered the Peking duck which is phenomenal and way too many sides for 3 people. The portions are huge and the staff were amazing ! Will definitely be visiting again!Food: 5/5
