Authentic Korean BBQ and Staffs are nice and kind. Need Reservation if you want to come. 1. Meat quality was great. 2. a variety of side dishes 3. Nice and kind staffs with great customer services although they are really busy. 4. I recommend Special Combo for Meat eater. You can eat a diverse of meats and the tasty is savory. I want to go there again.
We had a wonderful dinner at WuJu Korean BBQ yesterday with our good friends! Not sure why some people have negative comments about the side dishes. We LOVED all the side dishes and are so glad they didn't over-salt them like many other Korean Restaurants. We are very health conscious eaters and we really appreciated after talking to the waitstaff, Emilythe best!, and the ownerso kind! that they use more fruits and natural ingredients to season the food rather than lots of sugar, soy sauce or salt like many others do...and all the side dishes are made by them in-house pic is one of my favorite side dishes in Togo container! All the meats were seasoned perfectly with great quality, not too sweet / not too salty, and the portions were perfect for the 4 of us to share - who needs to eat more than your body needs! We prefer the restaurants that provide quality over quantity when we dine as we do at home. We will be back to dine again soon!!!
This was the first time going back after the Covid lockdown. This place used to have such great food and service. However, this time the service was slow, with the waitresses constantly apologizing to customers for the delays. The sides were very disappointing: kimchee did not taste like kimchee, and all the vegetable sides were under-seasoned and bland. We ordered Seollungtang, but the broth tasted like water. Both the kimchee stir-fry with spicy pork and the squid stir-fry tasted okay but it was done Chinese style, not Korean style. We asked the server why there was no kimchee in the kimchee stir-fry, and she said it was kimchee-flavored stir-fry with some cabbage very little… it had more onions than cabbage. The waitresses were obviously new and inexperienced so it was not their fault, and we could see that they were trying their best. Outside the restaurant were signs for hire for servers, dishwashers and cooks. They definitely need a new cook for sure. We did not try the BBQ this time so I cannot vouch for the quality or taste of the BBQ, but the regular menu options and sides were quite disappointing. We will wait for better reviews before returning back.
The staff were friendly. The food tastes good but not for BBQ. We ordered combo K and found out meat was much less than we expected. The beef tasted not fresh. Cold noodle tasted good. We probably just try regular food there.
We came into town and we were very interested in doing Korean barbecue. It's one of my go-tos when in the right city, and Seattle definitely is such a city. We actually went to a different Korean barbecue that had a better rating, but it was completely full and reserved out. They kindly it told us to come back another night. I was bummed. So eventually this place. There is a little wait, but it was okay, maybe 15 minutes. The place is a little bit small, and feels a little worn out, but they have full hoods for your own cook at the table experience. It's truthfully the only way to do Korean barbecue. So that part was perfect. We had a group of four hungry men and boys, so we ordered before person meal. A little pricey, but we figured it was just simpler. And wow, do they serve you plenty of food. There was more than left meat and then some for two grown man, and two starving football players who had played ball all day long. That's a good sign. The ladies were way busy and that's the only downside of the location is the service. They're just understaffed. I think a lot of places are like that. They probably get a five star or at least the four and a half, but we had to wait a lot for service, and the lady spilled sauce on my pants. At any rate, it's a good mom and pop location. I always say support the local guy if if you can. My final say is when I go back? The answer is yes. But I would go early so I don't have to wait for a table and the staff is not so busy. Good luck. You'll enjoy it.
First time going to eat at a restaurant in over a year. Fantastic Korean Bbq. The side dishes were tasty. I highly recommend. Prices are reasonable. Service was outstanding as well. Will come again.
Food quality is decent and lot bigger portion than what i paid. Kkagdugiradish kimchi is one that should be good for Sullungtangbeef bone soup but just okay. I cannot bite other side dishes.
The marinade is overly salty, the stew does not taste good, some food overcooked. The bbq itself comes in pretty small portions and the meat is not very good. As someone who really enjoys Korean bbq, this place was very disappointing. Even Korean restaurants not dedicated to bbq like Stone Korean has better bbqed meat than this place.
Here for the second time now trying their non-grilled food. I love the crispiness of the fried chicken wings! Best paired with your favorite beer also, definitely will be back when I'm craving for korean soup
I really wanted to like this place. I understand it’s New Year’s Day and they are understaffed and busy, but serving burnt rice when you know it’s burnt is not acceptable. Tables were not cleaned properly, our table still had a large piece of onion when we sat down and table was super wet. Ventilation system was poor, at one point they had to open the door because it was so smokey due to one table’s food caught fire. Beef was good, but the pork was clearly not fresh, you could see it turning color and it wasn’t pink anymore. They ran out of the one and only side dish we wanted a refill on. Their one and only waitress kept forgetting things and kept apologizing when we had to ask several times for the same thing. We will not visit this place again.
