World of Tea – Le Monde du Thé, an award-winning Tea House (a shop and tearoom), is located in the heart of Bank Street in Ottawa.

At World of Tea, we specialize in teas of terroir, which refers to the artisan teas that reflect the land, the people, the traditional tea-making skills and the local tea culture. To ensure the authenticity and the quality of our teas, we travel to the top tea-producing regions in India, Nepal, China, Taiwan, and Japan every year to observe, taste and select the finest teas directly from the producers.

In addition to single garden teas, we offer a large selection of herbs, herbal infusions, teapots and tea accessories.

The owner of World of Tea is by far the most knowledgeable tea expert I have ever met. He always takes the time to answer my questions and educate me about different teas. While I always prefer to go into the store, ordering online is very easy and delivery is quick.

THE BEST TEA. I used to live in Ottawa and this place has the best tea. I now live in Toronto and still regularly order. The GABA Oolong is far and away the best Oolong you'll ever try.
