Falling in love with Korean food every single time I have it. Super happy that my friend took me here for lunch. We ordered two diff items and both came with so many side dish. I really enjoyed the soup a lot as it had a lot of flavour and perfect amount of spice. I appreciate the complimentary tea that came with our food. Cozy atmosphere, clean, and friendly staff!
Excellent value for such delicious food! I had the soy sauce shrimp meal and loved it! My partner had the spicy pork meal. Quick service and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend if you love Korean food!
Our meal was excellent. I enjoyed the pork and accompanying small dishes. All items were cooked and presented expertly. The service was attentive and very polite. All this in a very clean and well maintained restaurant. I have no complaints and no suggestions for improvement. A solid choice for Korean fare.
Not my type of Korean food. Their seafoods pancake a little bit too thick than I expect. Not crispy. And the soup taste like overnight leftovers. According to price and food quality, I will only give this restaurant 3.5 stars. But google can’t give half stars so 3
Wonderful experience we had here. Everything was great. The server was polite and friendly and tried to teach me how to pronounce seafood pancake in Korean language. The meals were amazing, fresh and tasty, comes with four side dishes and free refills. The seafood pancake was so crispy and tasty, plenty of ingredients inside. I would love to try any soup meal next time. But my favourite meal is still pork ghalbi meal 14.95$ so tasty and marinated well xD
Had the opportunity to visit this little establishment around langley downtown area. So glad to see more Korean food alternative on this side of the town. Bossam - originally I was worried that it might be tasteless and dry based on the look. But it’s actually flavourful and soft. Wrap with cabbage and spicy radish salad. So meaty yet refreshing. U can ask for bean sauce on the side to add extra layer of taste. Woorinara soup - basically a spicy beef soup. It’s very rich of beef and kimchi flavours. It’s quite spicy though so be aware if u can’t handle the spiciness. Too spicy for me but I really enjoyed it. Spicy cold noodle - it’s good and refreshing, add some mustard and vinegar to make the taste more vibrant. Overall i really enjoyed my meal there. It’s a small restaurant so it could take a little longer for food to come out but I don’t think it’s an issue. Come give it a try when ur in town.
Their take out is simply the best!! The don't skimp on the side dishes and they're so we'll packed. Air tight in individual containers with a great variety. Their entrees are also delicious. I love getting their hot pots, especially the dwenjang jigae!
I ordered takeout a bit ago and it was SO good, so I decided to visit the actual restaurant. The food was even better fresh, the workers were lovely and friendly and didn't bother us too much while we were eating which is a plus for me! but still checked in, and the price point is extremely reasonable. I had so much food I ended up with leftovers, which will definitely be a midnight snack. The lady at the counter asked if everything was good, and you can tell they care about their food. Definitely my favorite Korean place!
I ordered the Jiamppong noodles, Woorinara soup, and the LA. Galbi via UberEats. The food was packaged so safe and professionally! The containers were strong, and a plastic film was laminated on top so there was no chance of spillage. The Galbi was one of the best I've ever had! Thick pieces of beef perfectly seasoned with onions and vegetables on top and bottom. The veggies were very tasty as it absorbed the juices from the marinate and had a slight charred taste. The meat itself was so juicy and tender - however, I can't justify the price as it was very expensive. The Woorinara soup was delicious! There were some slices of beef that usually goes into the beef bone soup Sulungtang meat There were radishes in there which I usually do not eat however they were well cooked, tasty, AND they melted in my mouth! The spiciness wasn't at a level where I wanted it, however it was a light spiciness that somehow packed a slight punched with each spoonful - this soup is a must buy and I see why this is such a popular item. The Jiamppong were an absolute disappointment : This was the worst Jiamppong I've ever had in my life. The noodles were not the usual Jjiamppong noodles, and the soup was so watered down I had trouble tasting anything. There were only TWO pieces of seafood in here, one shrimp and one mussel.
The food was super authentic, most of the dishes are served with 4 sides, rice and soup. We tried the beef soup and marinated pork! It was perfectly cooked, and flavourful. The staff was very understanding as well! It’s a small cozy restaurant for authentic korean food! Will definitely come again Due to COVID, there are shields between each table, allows you space to enjoy your food.
