I had an amazing time at Woodward. My group and I stopped by as a last minute decision and we were very happy with the choice. The pizza is delicious. It has a great sauce flavour and the outside of the pizza is crispy while the inside is soft and flavourful. They also have delicious cocktails that were an excellent complement to the pizza. If you are ever stopping by, you need to stop at Woodward! You won’t regret it.
Stopped by a Sunday night in July - best season of the Mountain. Ordered Meatball as starter: sauce are delicious, meatball is well cooked, but not a big fan of the biscuits bread- a little bit chewy Ordered The Super Pizza. Pepperonis bacon mushroom and green peppers. The pizza smells very nice and taste very nice. The pizza dough is thin style, tender inside and crispy outside. Recommend the house hot sauce and honey hot sauce- if you like chilies, a fun way to dip your pizza crust in. Our waitress is a super nice girl and works very hard. It used to be hodge head bar and I have to say it is a nice change over.
Wow! What an amazing pizza and drinks! The staff were wonderful from the moment we walked in. Great recommendations from the staff. We had thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Will be back if we're in town. Thank you!
Amazing service! Reasonable price… good vibe, and… outstanding Detroit style pizza. It’s an easy pick for lunch or evening hockey game. Highly recommended.
Decent food for a quick bar type stop. We ordered the fish and chips. The are currently low staffed COVID so the wait times are definitely there. There is NO steak on the menu but i recommend the fish and chips.

I have been here three times and have never been disappointed. The pizza in the square is awesome and the 14 "pizza is great because everyone gets more than just full. The waiters are also very friendly and all my experiences were very good. On Canada day it was very busy and the waiters did a good job, always friendly and didn't convey any stress even if it took longer on that day to get the menu. I can recommend it and i will visit it again. Try it
So this is our experience at the woodward pizza Canmore as you can see on photo you better eat outside and in a good day light so you can see better what you eat lol anyway the waiter tell us that we going to get a free clean pizza instead but we get one piece which was clean thank you guys it didn't destroy our evening but left some after all , be careful and check what you eat guy's!
Okay this is one of the hidden gems in Canmore. I can’t believe we didn’t find this place earlier. On to my experience: Caesar: I have not had a Caesar in years. I used to like really good ones but I am super picky. I had the pickle Caesar and it was so beautiful and flavourful. I can’t wait to have one here again. Beer: Several beers on tap. They had my favourite beer in a can which is Blindman Longshadows IPA. Food: I heard the burgers are great so I ordered the elk burger. Well the elk burger was the BEST burger I have ever had. So much beautiful flavour. And the fries which are fried in duck fat were also out of this world. All fresh ingredients so I feel great. Service: The service was the best in Canmore. Mya, Brandon and Kenzie were so much fun I hung out at the bar. If you have not been, go asap!!!
The pizza was good Detroit style. Took more than 30 min to be served though. Found some ingredients that didn’t belong in the pizza that I chose 2-3 pepperoni pieces in a chicken pizza. I addressed this “accident” to the waiter but received no reaction. A simple “we apologize” or “sorry about that” would go a long way. I noticed the staff whispering between each other and giving me looks : How dare you complain! I won’t return to that place. Especially now that I’ve read the reviews about other foreign objects in the food.
