My daughter got sick had high fever and she was throwing up. Took ER , They checked her right away and called us inside the ER nurses were so kind. My daughter starts feeling better in 4 hours. Good experience. Unfortunately next day middle of the night she got sick again. Went to ER again no wait time. She star treating her. I stayed there for a while. My daughter was recovering. Mean while Dr. On duty book an appointment for my daughter with the hospital pediatrician for my further concer. Took my daughter To pediatrician. Dr. Was so kind and knowledgeable to make everything understandable. Great experience. Huge thanks to the Team
This hospital has amazing doctors and short wait times. They make you feel so comfortable. I will continue coming here for all emergencies and will try to find a new family doctor here. Worth the drive from wherever you are! 10/10 would recommend!
I brought my daughter 4years old to there for the first time, and a doctor said she just needs some medicine in the pharmacy, under 6 years kids can’t take any cough medicine, and my family doctor told me before, so he said that after leaving, I waste two hours sit down there and just hear you says something I knew already? After I brought my daycare to there second time, my daughter’s Pediatrician not in Woodstock so I ask nurse where can I help my daughter get a shot4 years -6 years and she said our Pediatrician can’t take new patients anymore, maybe you should bring her to Toronto for that. She talked to me like I am stupid , after I found Out Southwestern Public Health should able help my daughter get a shot. This time emergency doctor is better than last time, he told me my daughter just need nasal spray to clear her nose then she will not be coughing h so much.
Earlier this month I went to the Emergency Dept. with excruciating stomach pain which turned out to be diverticulitis and a perforated bowel. I was interviewed in 15 minutes and very soon after was diagnosed by a doctor. They admitted me 4 hours later and I remained for 6 days on IV and antibiotics. During my stay I was attended to by an amazing nursing staff who were dilligent, caring and extremely resourseful while dealing with their extremely hectic work loads. I can't say enough about this hospital, their nursing staff and doctors and even the helpful cleaning and kitchen staff. In my 75 years on this earth, it is hands down the best hospital and staff I have ever experienced.
I thought I’m in a first world country and would be treated really well at-least in emergency. The hospital literally doesn’t know the meaning of emergency. Their emergency is 3-5 hours minimum. They Ask thousands of questions and read SOP before taking you in emergency and not just one person, i have to answer to three different people same thing. Cumon have some standard and treat the patients like patient instead of chanting guidelines of the hospital. You will die literally here unless you dont have your lungs coming out.
Fortunate to enjoy good health all of my life. Twice within this past year I have required day-surgery/proceedures. From the front door to the exit, I have been treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism. What a gem this place is, it's a well-oiled machine. The quality of care is exceptional. Thank you to everyone who puts their heart into their work, it shows and my gratitude is limitless.
I waited here for 6Hrs, though the displayed wait time was 2hrs 5min. After such long wait, the doctor comes up and first asks me How would you Like to pay? Without even telling me anything about how my health is! In Kitchener I have never paid a single penny, they submit the claims but here, the doctor was like that’s how it works here! And He charged me $126. The least I expect is a proper treatment, I was amazed with what he told “Considering your results, I don’t see anything wrong but considering your pains, I don’t know why you are getting those pains”, then who am I supposed to ask? An Engineer?.. I would never recommend to visit this place, but we got no other option! Such pathetic doctors!
Terrible, Place is fine mostly the staff, When I was in there the nurses where ok, but the doctors and psychiatrists are not very professional and didn’t look twice at a little girl that ik who had a viral infection in her blood and strep throat, who they sent home with no medicine or anything at all… and when brought to the LONDON Hospital was said that if she waited a week that she would’ve been dead. And on top of that they take out being overworked on there patients, Cause apparently it’s your fault you have to go to the hospital? and not to mention the time spent waiting is pretty bad considering you have to wait 2 hours for the hospital when no one’s even in the waiting room just to get looked at… Overall spend the extra time going to London hospital or another hospital that is close as this hospital is terrible.
7:00 p.m. - Monday March 27. Sitting in a waiting room after receiving a call at 3:45 to bring my husband back to be admitted, that the doctor would be waiting as tests showed he had a blood infection. Had sent him by ambulance yesterday at 9:00 a.m. as he was so ill. WH released him at 3:15 yesterday. He has cancer but right now as I write this still haven't seen the doctor. They are waiting for a bed for him. ???
HORRIBLE EXPIRIENCE. Brought my girlfriend in first thing in the morning, and it took us 5 hours to get out of there. DR. GRAHAM BRISCOE took a 5 second look at her and misperscribed her and didn’t even care to explain important notes on if what he thought she has is contagious, tips, nothing. Now we’re at another hospital, in and out in 1 hour, properly and thoroughly diagnosed. Dr BRISCOE is a sorry excuse for a doctor. I wouldn’t trust him to properly diagnose a common cold. Horrible, horrible experience. Dr’s get paid to HELP and heal us, not bat an eye and give people a random prescription. Absolute joke.
