The green is kept really nice . One of my top 5 places to go to golf.
The course is nice, but it’s a bit gimmicky for me. Too many holes are golf course management shots. How can you have 4 par 5’s and you can’t hit driver on any of the holes? I can see maybe 2 out of the 4, but not all 4. The greens are challenging which is a very good test of the short game. Just my opinion on the entire course experience, but being honest.
Nice course definitely not worth the 2hr drive especially at 105$ rate layout is ok rough was spotty and thin in some areas tee boxes were avg shape the fairways, greens and bunkers were all in fantastic shape par 3’s extremely bland wasn’t impressed at all par5’s were kinda gimmicky imo except 14 is a great hole
Nice golf course but absolutely ridiculous level of hawking over players by the staff. Was my first time playing the course ever. I mistakenly navigated from hole 16 to 11 on a rainy afternoon when absolutely zero other customers were to be found on the course. I was harassed on 3 separate occasions to finish up my round mind you I completed my extra long round in 3.5 hours. To put the cherry on too I was asked by the cart kid to pick up my ball on hole 18 and not complete the hole. Shame that such a wonderful course places such little value on their customers and their experience. To management - obviously I realize I got lost on your course. Chill out and understand that people make mistakes. If you want repeat customers don’t treat them terribly.
We had the chance to dine several times over the last two weeks and throughly enjoyed both dinner and lunch. Service was always good, staff is friendly and both the menu and food was very good!
This is one of my favorite courses ever. We take a day every year and drive a fair distance to play a round. The layout is such that I would not recommend attempting to walk the course. It is surrounded by townhouses, private homes and the roads that connect it all. A few holes require a decent drive by cart and you would really hold up a group behind you if you were to walk. The course offers a variety of tee selections for each age and ability. The distances are fair. The greens are exceptional. You get a true roll and actually can putt the ball versus having to slam it to the hole. I've never played here without seeing wildlife as this is a very rural area. So much so that I advise being very careful if driving home at dusk. Many deer. Pro shop is well stocked, staff i very nice, a driving range as well as practice putting greens are also available. You had better practice a few putts there too. The greens are much more like the PGA tour courses than your typical amateur ones.
We have loved The Club since we were married here at The Pines, and then " The Springs" since they opened the property. We had our post wedding brunch at the Clubhouse, and have been dining here for over fifteen years. The service, the ambiance.,.. do yourself a favor, the view is spectacular, Thank you Woodloch, you have always delivered service and quality
Very well maintained course with beautiful views and some challenging holes. Definitely worth the price. Looking forward to playing here again.
Just played 18 course is amazing , meticulously maintained. In the middle of the woods wide fairways and not a leaf on the ground.
Great course layout. Staff is very friendly. The course is in great shape!
