Since opening in 1981 Woodgrove Centre has remained the market dominant shopping centre in central Vancouver Island. Overall the mall isn’t bad. It lacks an identity though. There is a running pad for kids but half the time it’s not functional. The lack of identity of what the mall wants to be, and inspire people to come there is noticeable. When the mall took new ownership I had high hopes that they would inspire people to want to be at the mall. But seams that they haven’t determined what they want to be known for. As a result they havnt made any moves to change or refresh an ever out dating mall. Though there is lots of potential, I would love to see a vision and focus take place there.
This is the largest mall in the central Vancouver Island area . It has a large large selection of stores coveting a wide variety of needs. The mall is kept clean and tidy at all times. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking and everything you need is in one place
The Woodgroove Centre is an ideal Centre for several businesses and outlets. Some of the biggest brands around have their stores and facilities running their businesses there. The food court and the sitting area are spacious and ambient. The parking lot was good and the restrooms were clean too. Unfortunately, I forgot to capture the scenes but you should be here!!!
There's lots to do here.nTons of shopping, and food to choose from. Parking is ample, so there is usually spots available all around the building. Security is good if you ever have an issue, and the bus stops are easy to access.nThere are bathrooms in both sides of the mall as well.
Hard to imagine how the Bay can continue with so few customers and sky high prices. A plain fabric sofa $6000.nLots of small shops for most items like shoes clothing and toys. Excellent food court
