Woo MAI Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Absolutely the best sushi experience of my life. I work in downtown Vancouver and am quite familiar with the better Japanese restaurants Vancouver has to offer. This restaurant, however, beats them all in freshness, quality, imagination and presentation. Thank you for giving me the best Japanese dining experience of my entire life. As always James and his wife leave us full and happy. We are never rushed from the moment we get our drinks til we pay friendly greeting best sushi even if you don't like sushi there is seafood/ sushi free dishes. Our go to restaurant from just because date nights anniversary and birthdays.Food: 5/5

It is the worst sushi I have ever eaten in my life, all very bad, I bought 3 different rolls and misu soup... everything was disgusting.

I have worked in restaurants my entire life so it’s not like me to write negative reviews. But I was dining in with my boyfriend and we noticed we were missing half the items on our rolls. They were taken back & remade. They were still missing items. I apologized for having an issue but told our server I did not like the roll, same with my boyfriend. She said okay but some sushi places “just do things different” the excuse for missing items inside. I said ok and I would pay for the rest. The cook came out yelling at us random things it got extremely uncomfortable as the server i believe husband and wife went up to him and slapped him. He yelled more telling us to get out and never come back. So we left. I have never come across a situation like that before.

Had a salmon teriyaki and sashimi bento box and they were truly amazing. Excellent service, drinks and food. Glad we tried them, we'll be back!Food: 5/5

Nice place, family business, fast kitchen. Cheap with wonderful plates. I hardly recommend.

Miso soup was just beef broth and it tasted old. I use to come here all the time but the food is not good anymore.

Best sushi we've had in the Fraser Valley. We've been coming for years - I'm partial to their spicy black dragon roll and my husband loves their Snow White roll. Excellent, sincere service. Nice atmosphere if you choose to dine in. Honestly, we can't even imagine anyone saying an unkind word about this place!
