WonderWorks at Destiny USA
"WonderWorks is an amusement park for the mind with 40,000 square feet of “edu-tainment”. The attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination. This once top-secret laboratory was located in the Bermuda triangle. An experiment gone awry lifted the laboratory carrying it to Destiny USA in Syracuse where it landed upside down. Luckily all of the exhibits remained intact and available for guests to explore."

We enjoyed this. I’ve always seen the upside down building when we go out of state. It’s nice Syracuse has one so we figured we’d make a day trip out it. My 2 year old loved the bubble area and the walking piano.
So I brought my kids here around 6 years ago when it was still fairly new.. we had a blast & there was a lot to do - it was awesome! Then, yesterday I brought my 2 youngest 11 & 6 and was a huge let down. The majority of the exhibits were closed down or didn't work properly & the place clearly hasn't been cared for.. sad to see this place that had so much potential, become completely run now. Not to mention cost... it's not the cheapest attraction at the mall, so unfortunately I won't be visiting here anytime soon.
Amazing fun at an affordable price. Several exhibits we're not functional but there were so many to do, it wasn't a detriment. Many rides and experiences require a staff member to operate. We were the only guests there so we had to seek out staff to run the rides, but they were always friendly and happy to do so. My children are 13 and 15 and had a great time with all parts of the wonder works, laser tag, ropes course, bubbles, rides, and games.
Kids 14 & 9 had lots of fun, especially in the bubble area. They really enjoyed the simulators , except due to the staffing shortage from covid staff was rotating and line took upwards of an hour some weren't even open, line was much shorter towards closing and were able to get through 2 xs in about 20min. I would probably give it a 3.5 if I could because staff was I please but clearly over worked and things not open however I er all still a lot of fun. *This was included on a summer savings card purchased through wicz , otherwise I probably wouldn't have paid full price.
We have been here several times. This last week I brought in a large group from my Sunday School and they had a good deal. The employees there are very nice and helpful. So many activities for kids to keep them busy. My family always has a good time. It's fun for different ages too. The VIP tickets are definitely worth it if you like the ropes course and laser tag.
Came up for the day and enjoyed WonderWorks while we were at Destiny USA. Kid friendly and focused attractions, but even the adults enjoyed. Bubbles, Wonder Brite wall, thermal cams, led lights, inversion tunnel, wind tunnel, illusions, simulators a bunch of favorites! Lots to do. Will certainly take up a good chunk of the day! Nice staff that greeted us too!
Lots to do- all interactive and educational!Only $18 to go to museum AND play laser tag=win-win! Plus, they have simulators kids can ride again and again- they loved it! And a 4D movie that is pretty awesome:
This place is a zoo. We were visiting the area from out of state and we were looking for something to do on a day we had free. The choices at the mall were so overwhelming, but after lots of indecision, we decided on this place. The exhibits that were actually working were pretty cool, but it was way too crowded to enjoy any of it. And it was so incredibly loud. All 3 of my kids were begging to leave after a short time. We didn't even attempt the laser tag because we didn't want to deal with the crowd. We bought the combo ticket to do the ropes course, so did the after the "museum" section. The line was very long and very slow moving. We stuck it out, but only lasted about 20 minutes on the ropes course before everyone was over the whole thing and wanted to just get the heck out of there.
It's a bit smaller than the one at Broadway on the Beach at Myrtle Beach, but it was still lots of fun! Found my childhood home on Google Earth in there. Laid on the bed of nails, learned I have a pretty steady hand, and that my reflexes are still pretty ninja like with the "faster than light" game. 10/10 highly recommend
I paid 280.00 including tax for a birthday party for my 10 yo grand daughter. You only get the party room for 1 hour. You have to get the party going asap, feed them pizza soda and have cake and you have to be out of the room in an hour. After the kids can play as long as they want. None of the soda machines worked so the kids had nothing to drink while they are running around playing. I went to the staff and they were rude and said it was not their machine I had to leave the party to get the kids a drink.. I found the staff to be rude. I told them when I first got there it was my first time there. They were more annoyed than helpful. I won't go back and I won't recommend them.
