Wonderland Sculpture

We had gone by here both in the day and night. Come at night!! There is an open place to park right in the front if you want to take quick pictures which we did…definitely Jaume is a must see when you are downtown even if you are just driving by!

At first, the thought of a Wonderland gave me the impression of a collection of sculptures. On getting there, I discovered this was just one huge 3D sculpture with two entry points. Just behind the sculpture is a building that provides a safe and warm haven, away from the wintery chills of Calgary, with a lot of food options and a free and accessible lounge eating area up the elevator.

This lit up sculpture is a great piece of art, and looks amazing at night.

It’s a very creative and contemporary design, given 3D form using wire mesh.

It’s a cool and unique sculpture for sure. It’s in a central location while walking around downtown, not much parking around for free though if any. It’s a good picture opportunity and to hang out for a few minutes but besides that it’s nothing too exciting.

Just Wow! Its my 1st time exploring calgary and I walk around downtown and I saw this wonderland scrulpture. Its so amazing

Located at the Entry of BOW tower plaza, designed from a renowned Spanish artist Jaume Plensa. 12m height featuring a young girl head. Made of coated mild steel rod. There are 2 door-sized opening enabling visitor to enter, and to “wander” in the Wonderland. A must see spot visiting Calgary.

Really cool sculpture, I like that you can actually go inside and see if from a diff perspective

It was a surprise to see a bunny in downtown, he crossed the street just in front of my car, all of us stopped and let it through to the park, then it stays there for a while. Beautiful and just there, in the middle of the buildings.
