Oh man! If you're looking for some seriously awesome comfort food or just want to stuff your face, I can't think of many better places. We had the "Eric not Derrick". It was a good thing we split it! It is a veritable mountain of perfectly cooked and seasoned Nashville style chicken on a king size bed of their killer Mac which is on top of a king size bed of cheese fries. Absolutely killer! Kid-friendliness: Yep, I'd bring the kids here.
Their food is amazing! Had a loaded mac & cheese with a medium heat level. Excellent creamy mac & cheese, not oily, not heavy, super delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the Nashville hot sauce was right on point. Love the pickle garnishment on top! I eat maybe a third of my lunch and now have leftovers for tomorrow, yay! Highly recommend
Walking around the cute little town we came across this food truck dishing out spicy chicken sandwiches and other southern dishes. I got the Nashville style hot chicken sandwich at level 3, which was just the perfect level of kick. The waffle cut sweet potato fries were delicious and a perfect compliment. Plenty of seating around the whole area as there were two other food trucks too. Not sure how long it's here, but definitely worth a stop and will be back in the future.
I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to leave this review. I dream of their damn pickle slaw quite often, it’s that good. We also tried their loaded Mac n cheese which was obviously awesome. We chatted with them for a bit and they sent us home with their hot sauce that I made stretch for so many weeks, so good and some stickers to add to my collection! The little things like that will make sure they’re our #1 stop when we’re passing through Sisters. Do yourself a favor and visit these great people, you won’t regret it!
Staff: friendly and helpful Cleanliness of area: clean and well taken care of Easy to order, easy to pay, and easy to pick up We ordered the fried pickles with ranch as an appetizer. The only one who didn’t like it was the hubby. He hates pickles. The ranch was creamy but not dilly. We ordered three chicken sandwiches with #1 heat, the heat wasn’t hot and tasted sweet. Yumm. We all had the shoestring fries and they were the perfect crunch. My pickle free hubby had his with the slaw on the side. I scored his slaw. whoever put pickles in their slaw was SMArT! Hubby got Mac and cheese. He doesn’t share! So I can’t review the Mac. He said it was very tasty and Homemade! My kiddo ordered the fried chicken salad. It had lots of chicken and crispy greens. She enjoyed it. We will be back!! Next time I might not share my pickles. Thank you the yummy food.
This was actually our Plan B place as we came through Sisters on our way to Bend - not realizing that our arrival coincided with the Rodeo. This food cart is located a couple blocks off of the "main drag" which was one of the reasons we ended up here the other reason being all the positive reviews. You can order at the cart, or use the QR code at the table to order remotely. The folks in the cart were super friendly and helpful as we sussed out the menu. We ended up getting a Nashville hot chicken sandwich level 3 hot, the chicken bites level 2 medium, and shared the loaded mac and cheese. This. Is. LEGIT. Everything was excellent. The chicken was crunchy/juicy/spicy delicious, Level 3 hot was very zingy, the pickle slaw was refreshing, and the mac and cheese deserves its own sentence. The mac and cheese is made with a spiral pasta that is cooked on the bitier side of al dente - a perfect textural contrast to the ultra creamy cheese. This was a very comforting, satisfying meal on a cold, windy, kinda rainy day. There were only two tables under a shelter at this pod that we could find - the rest are scattered throughout the communal area between the carts and a bike/beer store.
I ordered the chicken salad and my spouse ordered the Mac and Cheese chicken. I liked the salad and the huge chicken pieces were good , but a little dry. The vinaigrette was pretty weak flavored.try a different dressing. the greens were very nice tho. The Mac and cheese was a little blah, but the chicken was great.A kid would like it. It was a lovely staff working , very nice . Euro sport is a sweet spot in town . And good place to see a classic car parked in front. I’m
Loved the fried chicken sandwich! Might be one of the best I’ve ever had. Sorry, no photos because I ate it too fast. I got level 4, which was the perfect spice level for me. They use dark meat and it was really juicy. The slaw with pickles is brilliant. Also tried the regular fries, fried pickle, and fried serrano! All very delicious. Love the vibe of this place and the folks who work there as well. Can’t wait to come back.
Very friendly staff. Food was good. I had the loaded fries. Plenty to share. I had mild sauce. May try and step it up to the next level next time.
My sister was in town and we were just shopping by when we decided to stop for a late lunch. Reviews were great, food looked great. I was told by the one of the local vendors that the place seemed decent. We both ordered a Nashville chicken sandwich and my husband ordered loaded Mac and cheese. Right after eating my husband said he felt funny and the food felt off. We brushed it off and continued on with our night. Boy I had the most embarrassing night. I started dozing off by 9 thinking I was tired but noted I felt slightly sick. Went to bed then woke up at 11, Ran to the bath room and let me spare y’all the details. Shortly I felt worse and woozy I walked to my husband who was sleeping and told him I felt sick, before I said another word i projectile vomited all over the pool table. I turned to run to the bathroom and vomited all over the living space and in the bathroom as Well. Another session of vomiting from both ends. In the end I showered and continued to vomit after. Finally after feeling better and got a couple hours of sleep when I was awoken by my sister vomiting in the bathroom. She too had something coming out of both ends This blows, I had to call out of work because I’m cramping and now dehydrating from a night of vomiting. As I type this review my sister is in the bathroom feeling nauseous at 11 am the next day. NO WE DIDN’T HAVE OTHER FOOD AFTER. It was our lunch and diner and i started feeling sick at around 9 -10. This experience has made me question food trucks again. I would NOT come back here again. It’s a bummer cause it actually “LOOKED” fire. Pic
