The best Chinese food in Durham region. Very authentic Chinese cuisine. They definitely save my trip to Markham or Scarborough when I m craving for Chinese food. The stuffs are super friendly too.Food: 5/5
This place used to be friendly, good food, reasonably priced for the portion of food. The friendliness went downhill quick, but most people hate their job, so i can deal with that, but now it's just an overpriced, subpar unfriendly place. Will not order from again. Sorry, I just couldn't get past the $2.40 burnt egg roll with one bite of stuffing, although the rest was no better.
Thought I would give this place a try for the first time based on some of the reviews I came across. Overall my experience was poor to say the least. I found the person taking the order over the phone to be a bit impatient. As for the menu, they have Red Curry on their menu but the person taking my order told me they stopped making that a few years ago. Why is it still on the menu? Anyway, there was a bit of a screw up with the pickup as they placed the order as a delivery. I learned about that when I arrived at the store!! I found the food, all 4 dishes, to be bland. The only dish I found ok was the steamed rice :-. I won't be placing any orders in the future.
This is terrible absolute vanilla Chinese food. Fried rice made incorrectly and was no better than microwave pre cooked pouch rice from the grocery store. Most of the food was lack luster and flavorless. No flavors of garlic, ginger, sesamie oil, green onion or any kind of spice. Seemed like salt, sugar and cornstarch was all they used. The food at Tangerine in Whitby is a far better.
I have been going here for years and love the food. Not too salty, fresh ingredients, and not too greasy. Sometimes I try other places, and I’m always left disappointed… this is the place. Look no further. I wish there was a sixth star I could give them.

I’m used to them having a little bit of flexibility with their meal arrangements. I guess they decided to depart from a customer service model and chose a more rigid course.

good Chinese food and if you ask they will tailor their foods for your needs. I had stomach surgery so no noodles for a bit but wanted won ton soup. they gave it to me won ton free, so just broth. really appreciated that
I've eaten here a few times now and they are consistently fresh and flavourful. They have great customer service and offer a 10% discount on cash payments. Very nice people and tasty food.
