Amazing food and service. The owner helped cook our food and brought it out personally. Food was ready quick even though they were busy. We ordered 7 dishes and the portions fed our family of 10 with extra leftovers. Black pepper beef steak and ma poo tofu were a hit. Looking to try the free range chicken next time! Definitely coming back.
Super excited to find a Chinese restaurant that has very authentic Cantonese flavours and is probably one of the only places in Ottawa that has a similar taste to what you can find in Toronto. Wok Hey seems to have inherited the Google Maps page of the previous restaurant but it is in fact under new ownership since about 7 months ago.nnWe got the pepper salt pork chop, fish with tofu, and stir fried rice noodles with beef. Everything was cooked well and the seasoning is spot on for our tastes. The noodles had some wok hei flavour, the pork chop was fried nicely and with a good amount of aromatics, and the fish tofu had a freshly fried tofu and a good sauce that held its texture till the end of the meal.nnStaff are very nice. 10% off pick up orders. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.
Food there are awesome and the owner is pretty nice to us! Highly recommend the Yangzhou Fried Rice!
We were craving for chinese food and found this online. As soon as I read a review that this is REAL chinese food, we decided to get food here.nLily greeted us with her radiant smile when we came in. She showed us their menu and helped us look for what what we wanted to order. They were very busy, clients and delivery guys coming in and out to pick up orders and Lily greeted them all with a smile. She just seems to be genuinely happy to be there. She is a truly an asset to the company as she was kind and helpful.nThe food was amazing! We were so glad to have found this place. Now we know where to get real chinese food when we’re back in the area. Highly recommended!
