Eat here! Amazing menu that is flavourful and satisfying. Our group of 4 each had a different dish at half size half size, full size, sumo size and had more than enough. Comfort food that we all loved. Really sweet cooks. See my video clip. Open kitchen so you can see and smell the preparations. It's the only Wok Box around so if you're a fan of noodles, rice bowls, butter chicken poutine, and a whoie lot more, you'll love this place. Lots of free parking and accessible. I'll be back!
Dont believe the bad reviews, people get butt hurt when they dont get what they want or what they are expecting. But this place was great, had my food order taken and ready in under 10 mins, the guy working behind was very good at his craft, even though it was busy at lunch i still couldn't believe how quick he was with getting everyones order ready and correct. And he was working alone. There was a bunch of other patrons complementing their orders and everyone was super happy. I dont know about you but my bowl looked better then the pictures. See for yourself.
Probably the worst Pad Thai I have had. Tasted like ketchup, mushy noodles, broccoli tasted like it was frozen, pieces of the green pepper tasted moldy. I wasn't expecting anything special but definitely better than what I got...especially for 18 bucks. Won't be coming back.
This is not an honorable establishment. They have the menu on the outside which says “kids eat free Saturday and Sunday - 1 free kids meal with regular box purchase”. Today is Saturday and they refused to honor the promotion claiming it is only on Sundays even after showing the poster hanging outside of the restaurant. The person taking our order was adamant and refused to accept the advertisement. *Update: We did finally speak to a manager before we left who offered to give us the kids meal but at that point we had already finished eating and were ready to leave. He did not offer to reimburse us for the kids meal we were charged. Unfortunately, it did not erase the frustration of dealing with the person taking the order who also made mistakes on our order when we asked for noodles instead of rice and no onions. We were told the drink machine was also broken so we couldn’t even get water. Overall a very disappointing experience when we’d gone to this place regularly.
My first time here. Ordered the ginger beef however for the price $22 - larger box was disappointed. Beef had lots of fatty pieces and was not very appetizing. Didn't taste any ginger. A few hours later I am burping up the food. I added extra broccoli and was surprised to find it was microwaved first! That was the first turn off. Cooking with a wok and high heat does not require any vegetables to be nuked. At least the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, it is unlikely I will return.
Got the pad Thai and butter chicken. Both were a bit bitter, and pad Thai was on the sour side. I liked the bread. Maybe I ordered the incorrect items. Best was the cooking kitchen cooking. Quite cool. Big fire. Warm. Taste like white people butter chicken ps. I am from surrey.
It’s a hidden gem in Queensborough. The noodles we had tastes great and in good price. They have a special promotion everyday in the week and on Saturday a combo for 2 people cost $25 plus that includes noodles, spring rolls and pops. I wish I found this place earlier. It was 3:30pm when we dined in but it’s still very busy due to takeouts and lots of dine-in customers. The only con is it’s a little smoky in the restaurant if you’re planning to dine in.
Food is soo good and tasty, I visted this location atleast once a week, i love the place and food. Staff is also good
We visit, New Westminster last week and we happened to went to WOKBOX, I ordered BUTTER CHICKEN, and my Partner ordered BEEF BOLGOGI and wow this was delicious, the sauce, the flavor, the rice yummy so perfectly blend. The Owner is friendly and attentive to customers I would highly recommend this place for their foods and service. EXCELLENT JOB KEEP IT UP.
Sitting here right now for lunch. Very pleasant atmosphere, service is friendly and welcoming and the place is very clean. Had their newish offering, the Buddha Bowl. Very tasty and for $13 combo I had two vege rolls and an apple juice. And, they have vegetarian selections as well as meat. I enjoyed my stop here and I'll do it again.
