The new location was amazing and exceeded our expectations. We were worried because we loved the original location so much, but the new one was even better somehow! I loved how it has multiple levels, with air being on the top floor and fire on the bottom! Very well designed. My favorite part....the detailed floors!!! Notice when you get out of the water realm and go into the earth realm, the floor has a wet look for a little bit because you are just coming out of the water. So cool! The artists who worked on this are extremely talented and whoever worked on the technology part did fantastic too!
I would highly recommend this place! If you have kids aged 6+ years it would be an amazing activity completing quests. My kid even went on to say that it felt like being in a movie. The setting of the different realms, the secret passages, the visual and sound effects are all well designed. This experience pays for every $ spent and is mesmerizing
I mean bravo whoever directed the art here. It's beautiful. Absolutely stunning and worth the price of admission to just walk around and take photos. My group was 40 yr old, 65 yr old and 34 year old so some of the spaces were a tight fit/crawl. A few times we left mom to sit on the main floor while we ran back and forth. Lots of stairs, a bit of crawling, some tight spaces but so much fun. So cleverly done, with the app integration. I wish I had one locally so I could come back. We finished half the quests in the allotted time and didn't do any of the qr codes. We might just be dumb idk. It was fun.
I wasn't sure if we would have much fun being that we are in our mid 40s. We felt like kids again for 2-hours straight. We are already planning our next visit. If you have a bigger group, split into smaller groups [2-3] if possible. The only way I can think to have more fun than this breaks the law in all 50 states.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$21–30
We visited the old location several times and always had a great time and was thoroughly engaged. Visited their new location and we are just blown away with the next level they have taken this amazing family attraction to! The quests are so fun and great for the whole family. I like that there are only a few things that might scare a young child and they can be avoided with little to no impact on the game. It's not creepy or full of spells and magic that you have to perform to complete a quest. It's a fantasy world of games and really cool visual effects and displays and interactive play. They give you 120 minutes to complete as many quests as you can. Bonus is you can start multiple quests at the same time so that if you are on a quest and behind someone who has small children or for some reason needs to take a little longer you can just jump to another quest and keep playing the game and go back to finish the previous one later. The mirror room is a bit funky but if you hold your hand out in front of you you'll be fine. Some doors require you to turn a knob or latch so if you see what looks like a door but it won't open it probably does from the other side. There might be an issue for taller or larger people in some places in the realms as a few can be a bit narrow and there are times you need to crawl through a short tunnel to find a clue. There is an elevator but some game places are not wheelchair accessible. So bring friends with that can navigate those areas for you! Don't let it stop you from having a great time! They also have a snack bar located in one of the realms and they can pause your game time while you enjoy some refreshments. They have so much more planned for this place and I am very very excited to keep coming back!
Wizard Quest is a three story warehouse filled with fantasy, mystery and adventure. This game has gotten quite expensive, $30 per person at full ticket price, given a black light and tablet you are tasked with exploring the fire, earth, water and air realms to complete riddles, escape room like tasks answer questions and finding exotic creatures. A paradise for photo opportunities, this location is great for kids and adults alike, with an hour and a half expect to exercise your muscles and brain to enjoy this role playing interactive story. If you find yourself in the dells I highly recommend this as a great stop for entertainment. Don't worry about ever becoming bored with this attraction, as the staff with change tasks and location details every 3-5 years.
Pros: The different realms were really neat and fun to discover and explore. Wizard Quest is totally worth a visit and 5 stars. I only gave it 3 stsrs because some of our group looked bored. Follow my suggestions for a great visit. Cons: This place could be 5 stars if they provided more I-pads per group. We were a group of 6 and we got one pad to work with. Some of our group felt left out. Due to the reading nature of the Quests, if the person who has the pad doesn't read loud then it is nearly impossible to know what to look for or what to do next. Suggestions Before Going: If you are a group larger than 2, go in separately and pay for 2 people, so you can get more pads. If you go in all together you will have to pay extra for an extra pad. That is what they consider more then one pad per group. Even though the price doesn't reflect. In my opinion every person should get an I-pad. Another Suggestion: Before you press start on your pad and begin your quests, visit all the realms. Knowing where the realms are located can help you when the quest gives a destination to go to. It is also a good time to take fun pictures without feeling pressured with the 2 hour time limit.
My 10 year old had a great time. Very well done artwork and sculptures, loved the interactive tablets. Could use some better support more staff, upkeep. UV lights are very weak for how bright it is. Would be nice for kids to be able to redeem their rewards for some souvenir doesn't even need to be expensive just something to remember the experience.
My daughters thought this was the coolest place in the planet! They loved exploring and solving the quests as we went along. I would warn that there are a lot of stairs involved so be prepared as many quests send you up or down a level multiple times. My oldest demanded to an employee that they build one in Texas near us lol!
Not sure what to expect, we went on a rainy day. 2 adults 4 kids. It was fun. However no one explained you can move between realms or where to find a quest exactly. The first 30 min was spent crawling, kneeling, walking and simply figuring out what the hell we were supposed to do. Finally our 11yr old found a quest. Once we got our act together, it was fun. However, the price of $170 for our family of 6 is too much for us.
