Beautiful sunny day to enjoy the well preserved submarine in Manitowoc harbor. Nice view, although we didn't go in for the tour. Maybe next time.
Great museum, we went on the first tour of the Cobia that day, and we had a good experience with the tour guide. He made sure everyone wore face coverings, was very reassuring and made sure that everyone was doing okay. The engine exhibit was fantastic! And the gift shop had some nice stuff too.
A truly outstanding museum. I loved how much history was in the area.
Really interesting and rich in history. Several moving and interactive displays. Also a tour of an original WWII submarine was really worth it!!
Great local history. Spent the day here with the Family. We will definitely return.
Very nice museum with full size naval submarine docked outside to tour. Very informed tour guides, many that actually were stationed on this sub or a sister sub. Exhibits inside are very well displayed with plenty to look at without being crowded or overwhelming. A must see for anyone who likes history.
Great place for cub scout over night. The staff gave awesome tours of the sub. Sleeping on the sub was super cool.
Did not know what to expect. We were greeted by friendly faces and then had a great time thru the museum, and then onto the submarine. Great guide, who could relate to all the younger children in our group and the adults. A group of 18, from 1 to 69 in age. Will do it again when we have the chance.
awesome museum and submarine tour
The displays are interesting and engaging. The your guide for the submarine tour knew the information well and was a pleasure. Ask at the desk for the best path. We enjoyed a couple hours here and could have spent more time. There's also some kid play areas too with interactive exhibits.
