Amazing fishing experience. The amount of fish we caught did not disappoint. Barely drop a line in the water .. bam! … a walleye. Caught our fish for shore lunch which is served at an outpost in the wild. Catch it at the right time, a bear may be watching! Eagles, beavers and moose around and beautiful scenery. Troy and Richard are amazing guides and know right where the fish are. Thank you Troy, Richard and family for an amazing wilderness experience!! Highly recommend!
Nice place and all but we found bed bugs our 4th night in the cabin right next door to the owners house. We were supposed to spend two months but left when we found one roomate covered in bumps. Looked good, fair price, could use a wifi booster in said cabin.
We booked a 21 foot boat and Troy as our fishing guide for early July to take four of us up to Lac Seul for a day of fishing. We’ve been coming to Sioux Lookout, Canada fishing for over 25 years and always fish Minnitaki, Abrams and the English river but we had yet to experience Lac Seul so we were excited. The day was PERFECT! After an hour ride out, we hit our spot and immediately started nailing 16-22 inch walleye. We caught our limit in 22 minutes. Our first hour of fish produced over 100 walleye and pike between the four of us. All nice size. Shore-lunch, cooked by Troy, was amazing and he handled everything. Troy was informative and fun. He was an expert angler that knew the waters well. He netted, baited our hooks and ever unhooked all the fish we caught. True all-inclusive experience. I can say that after 25 years of fishing in Canada, this was our BEST day of fishing. In total, we caught over 250 fish and had the day of lifetime for us four. We’ll be back again soon. Thanks again to Winoga Lodge.
Had a great time bear hunting and fishing! We had 100% success rate for bears out of 7 hunters with the biggest being 420lbs. Plus all the staff we great to work with, we will be coming back!
Great fishing in an awesome location! Staff and accommodations top notch. We have fished with them for years as a family and guys trips. Hunting is excellent also.
