Love what they do. If you really want to help out..get on the fostering program to help. You will be helping them out and serving the greater good by helping an injured animal get better in a less stressful environment.
Just over a year ago I adopted my cat from the Humane Society. I fell in love with her precious face on their website and got her as soon as I could. The adoption process was a breeze, quick and easy and super helpful people that work and volunteer there!! A year later my baby girl is happy to have her furever home.
We adopted a beautiful cat from the Humane Society. Her name is Smudge. They practiced excellent social distancing processes while we were able to visit the different cats. Call ahead to make an appointment and everything will be safe for you and the employees.
I rescued a beautiful cat, she was skinny, sick and scared. She is now healthy, fat and much calmer. The staff are all so very friendly and understanding as I call almost weekly to see if my Weego female, tattooed, spayed cat has been found.
With covid-19 realities, the Humane Society's book fair was not able to take place. Instead they offered a fundraiser where you could purchase books in packages that they created. Ordering was easy. And pick up was very easy. And the volunteers were extremely friendly. I've got some excellent books now. Thanks!!
The care to adopt program is amazing. They helped us after we saved a 2 week old kitten found on a farm road in st Andrews.
