A smaller store. They have good prices and there is a constant change in clothes being brought in. A good selection of hand bags.

Selection compared to some other winners is smaller; however, a good variety of fashions. There were some items severely damaged on the floor for sale (coffee table/bench) but as was not interested did not bother to see what the price was listed as.

Severely damaged product is being put back on the floor and marked as clearance: About three weeks ago, from your Salmon Arm Store, we saw an Ubi Diaper Pail that looked perfect and purchased it with no issues. We brought it home and noticed the packaging looked damaged on the side. Upon further inspection we found the bottom side was severely dented. We went back to the store the following week to exchange for a new one and let the rep know about the issue. I would either take a 20-30% discount for the damaged good that was sold to us, or ask for a refund. The manager that day said 8% was was the max discount so I asked for my money back. Sept 30th my Wife was back in winners and saw the the Diaper Pail we had been looking for again, but what was on the floor was the same one we brought back and let Winners know was damaged. The box had a discounted price of about 8%, still had the damage to the side, but this time was on clearance so a sale would be final. There was no other stickers or warning indicating the product had been damaged. It's designed to hold human waste, so this seems like a no brainier. Putting this back on the shelf is sending the message "we don't care, you bought it now it's your problem". Young families will typically buy this product, and the right thing to do would be to indicate on the box the item is damaged. This small incident has given a little more insight into this particular Winners business practices, which I hope at a corporate level, would be of some concern.
