The managers at this store have no empathy and don't use common courtesy when dealing with customers. I had my newborn baby with me, trying to return some items that were gifted for my baby, I barely get a chance to leave the house these days and it's very hard for me to even go to the store. I didn't have the gift receipts on me but all the tags were attached and nothing was used. I understand I have to show photo ID as I have done in the past at other winners. This particular time I didn't have the physical card with me but I always have my IDs on my phone. This has been accepted in the past at other stores in the past. They refused to go ahead and process any refund because I wasn't able to show a physical card and insisted that that is part of their store policy, I have read their store policy and it does not specify that a physical card needs to be provided, just valid government issued photo ID. I asked him for the rationale and they couldn't give me one and couldn't make an exception to go ahead and process the return. They saw that I had a newborn baby and I explained to them that it is very rare that I even have a chance to leave the house. There was another customer in line that understood my plight and expressed that she was a manager herself and talked to the store employees as well on my behalf which I appreciated. I understand store policy but this was not specified in the store policy so it should be updated and I felt that the managers could have been a little more empathetic in this situation. I will never be returning to this location and I think they're return policy definitely needs to be worded better so that it's not open to interpretation
Can’t believe the level of unprofessionalism, I put on these brand new jeans didn’t think to check if it still had a security tag. But I learned a good lesson today! partially removed security tag with the pin facing inwards. You would think the cashier would’ve used common sense and removed the side with the needle sticking through, but no she did not and yes, I did put the pants on and yes I did sit and have a sharp pin object jab me in the left buttocks cheek.nUnfortunately, I don’t find it that funny, and I am extremely disappointed in the level of professionalism at this retail store.
At Durham Center. A department store with accesories such as jewelry necklace, earings, watches, etc. Cosmetic department with different beauty supplies, during this season some merchandise with Christmas motives we find out some soaps with different Christmas desig labels. Shoes department, Household department such as bedding, decoration, some groceries, etc. Ladies and Men departments, Toys department and Sport department. There is a washroom and fitting room. We need assistance from staff, they were very helpful and kind. There is a certain clothes and other items on sale. Ample space and a relative variety of clothes during this tome of the year, winter relate clothes plus christmas ones. There is an ample of parking.

I had an EXCHANGE- size M- L. Original proof of purchase presented to accommodate the exchange. The cashier advised that if I could find the same item in the store size large then she would just switch it out, and if not, I would need to provide an ID for a gift receipt. So everything would have gone smoothly if they had the size that I needed? But now that they don’t I have to enter my ID into their system to identify with shoplifting ?
