Nice little spot tucked away between the hills of Verona. Tried this spot after a cold evening in Moutain Creek and the warm and yummy food just hit the right spot. All their soups were wonderful and we ended up buying multiple orders for take home. We ordered different varieties of food - Sushi, Stir Fry, Thai, etc., and all were very good. Only downside - one of our waitress was very slow, completely clueless, and probably high.. But I don't want to take away a star for one bad employee. Hopefully the Owners would take notice and fix this issue.
GREAT JAPANESE FOOD!! I love my Beef Negimaki there! Reliable place, perfect for large family visits, or just dinner with friends.
I've been eating here for years! Wings has the BEST hot and sour soup I've ever had no joke and the sashimi is delicious. we love to bring a bottle of wine and catch up over lunch! As a foodie who has an apartment in the city I highly recommend this establishment. get the soup!
A great drive led to a great dinner discovery. The food is so fresh and delicious. The presentation is amazing! The staff is very friendly and inviting. Definitely a great discovery.Food: 5/5
Honestly don’t know how this place has good reviews. It took almost two hours for everyone in our group to receive their food. Some received theirs within an hour and others were left waiting for an additional hour. No unusual or complicated orders. Yes we were a large group but they knew in advance the amount of people coming. There was a total of exactly 3 other people in the restaurant. Even had the nerve to circle the gratuity predetermined on the check. When I complained about how the wait was unacceptable she offered no apologies or even just an explanation. Then came back and handed me my check with attitude. If you can’t accommodate a large group of people then simply admit that. I don’t care how good the food is. It was subpar/average it’s not worth waiting that long with that lack of consideration.
Was originally excited for this place seeing how good the rating was and how close it is to the resorts. And with the lack of Asian options in the area we decided to try it out. But after the visit I would advise others to reconsider options To start it off we come in seated and waited 20 minutes and had to wave down someone to get water. Placed an order and waited another 40 minutes until we had to wave them down again to ask about our order. And they finally told us that they were busy with take out orders. I get places being busy but there’s nothing mentioned to us as customers and was left guessing. The waiter seemed really occupied with a table from what it looks like was friends.. But what made it worse was the food quality was horrendous. Large menu and fancy flair but just done so poorly, shrimp mixed with flour or something, that you can see the shrimp start breaking down for the Tom yum soup, the ocean curry which cost nearly $20 had 2 tiny slices of scallop 2 what it looks like to be frozen mussels and the terrible shrimp again in a small plate. After waiting so long and getting that kind of quality I was severely disappointed. We were so hungry and decided to just bite the bullet and finish it considering how little and bad quality it is, my gf and I cannot stand paying this much for such a joke of a dish. I don’t mind paying more for good food or waiting if it’s being communicated to the guests there’s a back order in the kitchen. Spent over $60 dollars and went ahead to Burger King afterwards to fill up my stomach with a 3rd of the price.
amazing food. go visit or have it delivered but either way you will have a great experience. it is a quaint restaurant, nothing over the top but just good food. Go early and be patient - it is worth the wait.Food: 5/5
Service could have been better and noticed extra fillers in the sushi, such as to much Cucumber in the rolls. But I still gave 5 stars because their beef and broccoli was the best I've had in years, not to mention the presentation of the food was amazing. So I'll be back for the beef and broccoli but definitely getting it to go. Parking: Be careful with the huge potholes
We eat here every time we stay at mountain creek. The food never disappoints. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Staff is courteous. The eating space is well decorated with a tuna fish or fish of some kind that looks beautiful on the wall. The maki rolls that I ordered were delicious and the 2 bento boxes my party ordered were delicious too. I had spicy tuna and salmon tempura. If you haven’t eaten here give this place a try. Ample parking. But if it’s a Saturday, the recreational enthusiasts are using this strip mall’s space to park their arrogant trailers so make sure you park closer to the restaurant and try to use the entrance that is closest to the restaurant because the recreational enthusiasts are blocking up the other entrance.
