The pizzas be good however when they mess up they still deliver it. This the third time a portion has been delivered to me burnt. I would call for a new one but this burnt one took an hour and a half to get here and I’m just hungry.
Ordered a medium stuffed pizza with ground beef. Although there were burn spots, this pizza was good & big for a medium pizza compared to other places. Would have given it a 5 if not for the burn, but this is almost comparable to a Beggars Pizza or Giordano's but not as ridiculously priced as they are lol
If you bowl at Castaway make sure you eat before you go…Windy City Pizza in Calumet City, IL don’t need your money. Its plenty of other companies that will show way better customer service and can offer their customers better resolutions when they make a mistake. On Father’s Day we decided to bring the family here and enjoy some bowling with the kids. I went to the Windy City Pizza that’s located inside Castaway bowling alley and proceeded to order 1 large pizza, 12 wings and 1 pitcher of pop. The young lady that took my order didn’t have the best customer service skills. She was quiet and just stared at me like I had been here before. I asked her how much a pitch of pop cost and she pointed didn’t speak a word about how much a pitcher cost to the wall where it was three cups located with three different prices. I assumed they didn’t sell pitchers of pop and we had to buy individual drinks. I told her I needed four cups. After she rung me up, I looked at the receipt and saw she charged me for 4 pitchers of pop which were $8 a pitcher. I told her that I only wanted one pitcher and I thought I had to get cups since she pointed at them when I asked her about the price of a pitcher of pop. She proceeded to tell me that she couldn’t give me a refund because I paid with my debit card. The manager came out and told me to do a stop payment with my credit card because their credit card machines don’t allow them to do refunds. He told me that’s what they tell the other customers to do…he offered me a store credit but I didn’t want anything else and I don’t plan on supporting their business in the future. I asked if he could contact the owner because this was a mistake on their behalf and he agreed with was a mistake on their behalf. He then told me he couldn’t get in touch with the owner because neither one of the owners leave their personal contact info for NONE of their employees to get in contact with them when problems occur. It’s ridiculous that the company made a mistake and they don’t care about fixing it. They rather have me go through my credit union and wait 2 weeks to receive my money back when I could have got it that day. I just ended up canceling my whole order. I didn’t trust them to make my food especially since the cashier was staring me down the whole time as if she didn’t make the mistake. She never apologized for her mistake, stared me down and rolled her eyes the whole time I was speaking with the manager…please and I repeat please save yourself the stress and frustration of dealing with this company. I really wish I could have gave zero stars.
I'd give no stars but that's not an option. Placed an order for delivery. Phone girl was rude. Waited an hour,called and asked where the driver was..they said he's out on delivery. I wait 40 more minutes and call because I was still waiting. I call and they said the driver left for the day so they canceled my order. They said they called and came to my house but I never got a call and nobody drive down my street that whole time. I guess I fed the kitchen staff today. You're welcome guys
The only reason why we get pizza from here is because my mom otherwise we would have stopped long time ago. I understand it's "Supreme Pizza." So we pay more like $32.00 that's already too freaking much if you ask me. But Saturday we paid $46.00 for Sausage/Pepperoni and mozzarella sticks. My mom wanted. These people use they Supreme Pizzas and ripp people off. $46.00 seriously you taking advantage of people it's a trap
I ordered 18 wings to go. The wings tasted like they were from a order that had not been picked up. The wings were not fresh at all. I called back at 1203. Rich the manager refused to talk to me. The service is not the best. The food definitely has went down over the years the service has as well. The price definitely didn't go down. I have a food service, sanitation and basset license. This is unacceptable. I used to eat there all the time. You definitely should not be feeling sick to your stomach from trying to eat a few wings.
They didn’t have the option of 0 stars. This place in Cast Away has horrible customer service. Called to order and they were very rude. Almost like you have to talk ghetto to them for then to get your order right. Grew up eating here since a kid, I’m 31 now and sad to what it’s become. Will be my last time here sadly. This place needs new management, new everything. Not even considering telling people about Windy City Pizza
If I could do 0 stars I would. This place is just horrible, they always forget something. Today I order for delivery, I didn’t get one of my 2 calzones. I called, and had to wait 40 mins for my missing food to be deliver. When I got my order it was incorrect I called again and they refused a refund.
As stated by numerous customers on multiple sites, the service is the worst! I contacted the restaurant and ordered 2 pizzas for pick up. I was told 35 min. 30 min later when I arrived, I asked to add some chicken to my order. I was told the chicken would take 30 min but my pizza would be ready in 12 min. 20 min later I still had no pizza so I went to inquire. They were just making the pizza, YES A WHOLE HOUR LATER. I then requested my money back and was told there are no refunds. A refund is when I pay you, you give me something and I request my money back. They hadn't given us anything, they just took our money. After arguing with the unprofessional clerk, another gentleman got the pizza and gave them to us. When we got home we realized the pizzas were missing ingredients. They refused to answer the phone or door when we returned to replace the food. I called today to speak to the manager who informed me there would be no compensation because he can't prove I'm being honest. Unfortunately I can't post the picture here but I have on other websites. MANY MANY MANY MORE TO COME for my $40. In response to the owner: The issue should have been resolved that night after an almost 2hr wait without dishonesty from your staff. Yes, the pizza's were eaten the night before, I had 6 people to feed. I asked for an apology for the horrible service and the return of my money for the items I didn't recieve. You REFUSED and told me I had to PROVE what I didn't receive. Wrong answer.
I am highly upset! I ordered dinner late tonight and I order from here not often and love their pizza but hate their customer service !! The lady on the phone read back my order to me and I said yes everything is correct she then told me my total I got my food an hour and 10 minutes later and there were no fries and the cheese sticks were NOT done at all!!!! I have kids who don’t eat pizza now they don’t have anything to eat!!! Tried calling the restaurant and the “manager” said that oh well she said you didn’t say that! That is not how you talk to a customer on the phone !! Won’t be ordering from y’all again!!!!
