Excellent food and ambiance. The first waitress we saw was a bit standoffish and I wasn’t sure if we would be welcome, but the one who actually served us was lovely. It’s a pricey location but with excellent food. We had the lobster roll and chowder soup combo. It was Devine. Not too salty. There was a good amount of lobster and the chowder had a good amount of fish. We also had fresh rolls that came with that were melt in your mouth good. The presentation was appetizing. The service was a nice compromise between attentive and allowing us to chat.
View from the patio. $34 for a lobster sandwich shocked me. But it was delicious. And so was the clam chowder. All of their desserts are freshly made in house. The raspberry cheesecake was delicious.
Nice restaurant. Lobsters are good. Staff is very courteous. We didn’t had reservations but they accommodated us. And gave amazing hospitality. Met several amazing friends
Great food and pleasant service with a very nice atmosphere overlooking the harbour. Highly recommended. The shrimp and scallops were particularly delicious.
Location, is excellent close to the water, enough free parking, decoration and layout. I liked the decoration as it took me back to history. Colours are excellent. The layout need upgrade. The restaurant is small size and tables are close to one another. It was odd to see the chairs are different, they are not the same.however I found it funny and lovely, as I felt I am a guest not in restaurant. Out side seats were nice as well. Cleanliness, the cleaning within expectations. The table was organized well Service, was nice and friendly, although we went late night, but still employee or the owner are respectful and welcoming. The only issue I had, it took them longer time to seated us. Food preparation was within expectations, I liked my order it was tasty and delicious. Prices, we ordered seafood and prices within expectations. Conclusion, I see if I go to PEI, I am positive that I will like to go their again.
This restaurant has a beautiful little view of the water. We had the carrot ginger soup, the lobster stuffed mushrooms and the bubbly bake and it was all really good! oh yes.... and we finished with the bread pudding. The food was great and the service was friendly. A lovely spot. Would recommend!
Had a bowl of delicious mussels. The service was friendly and professional. I highly recommend Windows on the Water.
Unfortunately, the service was extremely long, we waited more than 1 hour to receive our starters and then waited another 45min to receive the main course. Oysters were amazing. Main courses were OK, a bit expensive for what we got. Seafood quality was great. The waitress was nice and friendly. Overall a good experience, but not enough for us to want to go back.
I am a big fan of fish/seafood I ordered the Special grilled haddock with brushetta and can honestly say it was THE best fish I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection and the sodes: corn, potatoes and fresh veggies were EXCELLENT Our server was attentive, pleasant and very congenial Our dining experience was PHENOMENAL
Get little chic country restaurant with freshly prepared meals that are simple, yet elegant. A must stop for a bite and glass of wine or beer along the river. Pictures say it all.
