Story

We are a 50's and 60's style diner with real people and real food. Let us do the cooking and the dishes for you tonight! Sit back and relax in our comfortable booths or choose a table if you prefer. We can accomodate small and large groups. Hope you enjoy your visit with us time and time again and thank you.

My family and friends go to this restaurant on a monthly basis. Really good breakfast and lunch menu. I haven’t been for dinner yet but I’m sure it’s good. It’s also wheelchair accessible and has plenty of parking. Clean washrooms and friendly staff and great service.

I really hate to do this, but we're done with Wimpy's. The wait staff are still great but the last few meals we've had there have been less than stellar. Most recently, the place was slammed. The poor waitresses were struggling to keep up with demand while scolding the cooks who were screwing up orders. In addition to plating uncooked rice on my wife's souvlaki dinner, they plated a Hamburger that was cold as ice. Granted the onion rings were great but even getting our meal comped wasn't enough. We're done. I made sure to tip the server as the mess was clearly not her fault. I'm not sure if the kitchen staff were new, untrained, improperly supervised or just trying to relieve the pressure by acting out but It was depressing to see pleasant, professional serving staff who've contributed to many enjoyable meals we've had at Wimpy's reduced to having to manage the kitchen as well as the demands of the diners. As we were seated in the booth right across from the kitchen my wife and I could plainly hear the cooks and the waitresses. As I've said things have been little hit and miss in the kitchen there recently, nothing quite like the most recent meal but enough to realize things were going to get worse not better. Thanks for the pleasant memories Wimpy's! We wish you all the best but we've moved on.

Usually pretty decent, staff is usually great, lots of good food options, decently priced. This is our family's go to place when we don't know where else we want to go. Rarely disappointing.
