Its shallow and protected waters are suitable for young children, while views of Discovery Island and Mount Baker make basking, swimming or paddling there just that much more beautiful. Willows Beach is ideal for enjoying summer activities such as beach volleyball and skimboarding, due to its sand beaches and shallow waters great spot for family gatherings and outdoor barbecues.
Awesome stop for a quick beach break on the drive up to the ferry! We walked out around 9:30 to catch low tide. This is a great spot to go intertidal pool exploring! We saw lots of star fish and a couple sea cucumbers, even without professional knowledge.
Pretty nice beach along the ocean. Some nice views but can’t see much of the mountains, a playground for kids, public bathroom, some benches, some parking. Pretty busy on a weekend. The sand is pretty nice and soft. Nice trees bordering the area as well.
Willows Beach/Park is a great place for kids, adults, families, and dogs. The park itself is a great place to play with lots of space to spread out. The beach is a long stretch and has a beautiful view out over the water.
Love, love, love sun rises on this beach! There are geese floating around, people swimming at this time and if it is raining you get the occasional epic rainbow extending across the harbor. The sand is so soft and my shoes just always seem to fall off : If you haven't already checked this place out put it on your bucket list!
Great place for spending time with families and friends. They have kids park. Not crowded as seen in the photo. They have volleyball nets, wide shoreline, and Blackberries lol. I love warm water that is why I didn't swim. There are tables and benches to put food. Washroom is on the far left side.
Rarely visit here, however free Tuesday evening yoga was wonderful!
Stunning views! This is a great beach in the Oak Bay area with coffee shops walking distance away in Estevan Village. Ample parking & lovely spot to bring the canoe, paddle board, or a good book.
The playground is great for kids of all ages. There are washrooms nearby and the beach is nice and sandy with calm water and beautiful views.
Wonderful soft sandy walking beach. Love to visit often. So much beautiful driftwood. Happy people. Such an expansive, long, narrow beach, many options for everyone.
