Today. I had an appointment with Dr. Ashwani Narag . He was about to treat me and my daughter for corn we have in our feet. First he told my husband that my youngest son should be out of his room . Then he told my daughter if she scared of nitrogen he has knife to cut the corn . I requested him not to scare my daughter then he told me that he has lots of patients waiting actually there was no such crowd at the waiting room . Previously i requested him to transfer me to a another doctor for my pap test as his behavior was making me uncomfortable. That time he told me to find another doctor from another clinic . If a doctor advice me to find another doctor why the clinic doesn’t have policy to change doctor within the clinic. He is always in rush and doesn’t give proper attention. Several times he told us if he remove us from his list we will be in trouble. I am a newcomer. I really need a good family which willogrove already have. I can’t bear this anymore. There are times when i feel sick but don’t go to the doctor to have another bad experience.
I went for my first medical exam here and left a little disappointed due to my worries with not doing well with a pulmonary breathing test and feeling pressured from the physician, however, I got a call from the manager and Dr. Moses a couple days telling me to come back and do it again and to not worry about it. They encouraged me to try again and supported me throughout it. I went again today and actually passed due to the support of the physician and other party members that were involved. This medical group knows how to get in touch with there patients and provide a comfortable space to do the tests done here. Even if they pressure you they’re only wanting what’s best for you and that’s to pass. I give a good thanks to Dr Moses
I 100% do not recommend this office if you will have to deal with the front desk staff in any capacity. Front-end staff are often rude and abrupt, and often don’t own up to their own mistakes or so much as apologize for them.nnAs someone whose doctor is currently away that works out of their office, it has become nearly impossible to get the care I need because of their management. I cannot book with other doctors; I’m forced to wait in the walk-in for 3+ hours for anything I need; that is assuming I end up even on the list, as despite being told a multi-hour wait, I’m not even put on the list if I say I’m going to grab breakfast while I wait in line.nnAs well, I have dealt with faces for prescription refills seemingly being “lost”, with them claiming it takes “up to 24 hours” for a refill to come through. Except, because said refill was through the NP and not my doctor who is away, they simply “lost” it. And forget trying to get it approved; I doubt they even forwarded it on to the right practitioner to be looked at. It’s beyond atrocious to try and access the care I need as a patient at their office.nnThe only saving grace thus far at their office is their NP, Dr. Andrea Zimmer. If you’re forced to use this office, book directly with her online. She is nothing short of phenomenal, helpful, empathetic, and understanding.
The receptionist on duty today, December 6 at 1:52 pm just hung up on me. I asked for her name so I could reference it on a review and she hung up on me. We booked in to see a family doctor. We were so happy that we got an appointment after 4 years of waiting. But we missed the appointment - not intentionally. It's because we did not receive any notifications - no email, no text, no phone call and no voicemail for both the booking, registration nor the reminder. The receptionist said they never send emails and just calls and texts. But, my co-worker just got an email to remind her of her appointment tomorrow. We pulled our call logs, checked voicemail, checked our inbox even our spam folders - NOTHING. And the receptionist kept on insisting they sent one. This lady needs basic training on how to handle these types of situations. She was just so rude.nnI recognize that i am at fault for not remembering the appointment. And I can give all the excuses and it would not make it right. But it is also not right to treat people like how the receptionist did. If they did send that voicemail and i missed it, I would accept it and not even contest it. It feels so disheartening to be treated this way especially when all we want is a doctor that we could rely on for emergencies - a basic need that we can't even get these days. Empathy and kindness would go a long way. I was trying to look for an email to send my complaint to for a more formal way to do this. But I couldn't find it. So, google review it is.
I am greatly indebted to Willowgrove Medical Group. I have seen 2 doctors there as a walk-in plus the nurse practitioner who I see as a regular patient. All of them have been non-judgmental, look at the root cause, and in my opinion, go above and beyond. One of the doctors was able to diagnose my rash properly after I've been to several other walk-ins where I was prescribed creams that didn't work. The doctors and NP are also amazing at follow-ups and made me feel like a valued patient with their focus and attention. I am so grateful.
