I had the absolute pleasure of working at Willowbrae River District, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience! A special thank you to the director, Edisa, and the assistant director, Isabel, who were welcoming and kind throughout my entire time there.nnThe staff is amazing—they are supportive, friendly, fun and hardworking. Even though it was my first job, they couldn't have been more supportive and patient. For me, the incredible staff it's what truly sets Willowbrae apart. It genuinely feels like a real team, where everyone is in it together.nnThank you so much, Willowbrae River District, for being such a distinguished and special place to work!
Willowbrae River District has been such a great daycare for our family. We could tell how much our child’s daycare teachers loved and cared for her. Edisa was great at addressing any concerns we had and always made us feel listened to and understood. If I could give this daycare 10 stars I definitely would. Not to mention, I could see the growth in my child in terms of her communication and social skills!nnThank you to all the Willowbrae staff!!!! We will definitely be missing you all
After attending the Academy for 9 months, I can feel more than confident to share our fantastic experience as a parent of a toddler. Our daughter started at the very first day that Academy opened and she was only 10 months. As a first time mother with a little baby attending a daycare for the first time, I was concerned in how our daughter would adapt. But the Academy started with experienced and dedicated staff. From the Teachers to the Director Edisa, we can see how the team is passionated in caring and how my daughter is thriving. I also would like to praise the quick response we always get from Edisa, the Director, for any concern or need we have. We brought a safety concern to her and she acted right away. By next day, it was solved. I also love the app and the daily reports where we can see how the day was. We can see how many diapers change, what our daughter ate for snacks and lunch, nap duration, see pictures, check the actives and what skills they are working to developed on the kids etc. I also love the fact that I can have a sneak peak of my daughter in her classroom and playground with the access to the cameras.nLastly, we love the teachers and so does my daughter. Every drop off for us is easy since they welcome the kids, give hugs and engage them with an activity right away. I cannot be more grateful with all the staff and Willowbrae Academy at River District for taking care of our daughter so graciously. Thank you so much!
Fantastic daycare and wonderful staff! My daughter has so much fun! I love that I can see my daughter during their day through their app. Everyday, I am given a lengthy report on the activities and overall mood. She has learned so much just from Willowbrae! Her teachers are so kind and patient. They really are so involved with each child and I don't know how they do it! The director is always there and runs a smooth ship! This daycare is always clean and tidy. The outdoor play area is a toddler's dream!
This daycare centre has been great for our son! They were very supportive when he first started, and we have seen the great changes with how much he's learned at this centre. He transitioned from the infant/toddler class and then to the preschool class with ease thanks to the teachers. He loved the teachers in IT5 and Preschool 1 and mentioned them by name at home. All the staff we have interacted with have been lovely, and genuinely care for the children. Edisa has provided great leadership as Director, and has been very attentive and prompt to respond to any concerns we had. Highly recommend this centre!
