Beautiful little area of beach in Campbell River on Vancouver island!! Peaceful & calming beside the ocean!!
There are several 5? picnic tables under cover right beside the playground which is good for most ages. The water park is on the other side of the playground. There are washrooms there. The only downside is that unless you park on the street by the water park, it's a bit of a walk to the playground area.
With the weather lately, the trails are muddy! And the creeks/ or water are rushing! Some area's are like a swamp, depending on which route you take! Lots of fallen trees and shrubs, be careful on the trails; if not paying attention you could slip & hurt yourself! So play it careful if by yourself, it's always good at least someone knows where you are
Lots to do for all ages. Jungle gyms, splash pad, tennis courts, fields, BMX track, skate park. Probably more, but we haven't discovered it yet.
Great little park for all ages, there is a water park in the summer, playground, tables and lots of grass for dogs and kids/teens to play in and a tennis court beside the park and accessible bathrooms. There is also a swing for special needs or those who need a more sturdy swing. All around great park
