Despite the long wait times, the nurses and doctors were exceptionally kind and compassionate toward both patients and their families. They took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure we felt informed and as comfortable as possible. Their friendly and caring attitude truly helped make a difficult situation more bearable. I appreciate the care and effort they put into their work.
I know hospital staff are short staffed and over worked but my experience of this health care center I one of the worst I have ever experanced the nurse at the emergency check was so unhelpful and even called security for why I do not know.. disgusting behaviour from supposedly a caring professional
Was there a week or two ago. I must say worst hospital I've ever been to in all of Alberta. Waited 7 hours to see a doctor when the waiting room wasn't very busy at all. One of the nurses and the front desk lady was very nice but everything else was just horrible. After waiting for 7 hours they wrote me a prescription for some pain medication gave me some in person and pretty much said have a goodnight.
EmergancynnFirst time I went for myself there was some nice nurses but also some racist ones. Very unprofessional and not genuine for the care of people.nnSecond time I went I Ended up leaving after waiting for so long. Not one person seemed genuine except for the admitting nurse. Even the doctor was very quick and didn't even mention anything. Just one quick look and left. Still in alot of discomfort unfortunatelynnAlso my partner went, was in pain waited 5-6 hours finally was called in and 15 mins later was given adrenaline and a couple meds and was sent on his way. Hes still in pain and was worries for a lump/ball in his stomach that was dismissed.nnDefinitely need to hire more doctors.
Dr Beyers and nurse Kimberly were absolutely amazing last weekend when I ended up in the hospital twice in one night. He admitted not knowing what was happening but jumped right on finding out and calling for help. Turned into a life flight out to city but the care in Llb was first rate! Thank you!
