William G. Stratton State Park

William G. Stratton State Park has excellent views of the Illinois River, fishing, boat ramp access, and access to the I&M Canal Trail. There's truly something for everyone here.nnIt's a very well operated state park with ample parking, restroom facilities, benches overlooking the river, and grills.

With the weather being warmer. This park is super good to take your dog on a leash . This park is a great place to walk around in nature.

Nice little park with access to the I & M Canal. Really nice section of the canal as well. A few picnic tables with a nice view of the river. Good spot for a nice lunch. Little bit of tricky twist & turns to get there when you turn off the main road but once you figure it out you’ll remember for next time.

I wish they'd open the bathrooms. Beautiful river out here with plenty of parking and picnic space. Good boat loading ramps.

Nice park with boat ramp right next to the river and I&M canal.has hiking paths and picnic tables.
