This organization fills a gap that NO other organization does. They compile all the information on local farmers and food producers and get it to the consumer. Check out their locally grown guide - it's amazing. I have to admit, I collected them for a few years before I actually cracked one open and I was amazed at how interesting and informative it was. WFFC also helps the farmers markets by coordinating federal and state grants, enabling them to accept Double Up Food Bucks, the new SNAP match program doubling my SNAP purchases. That amounts to $40 a month for me, nothing to sneeze at when I'm on a shoestring trying to provide my family with healthy fresh food! THANKS!
