nice and cozy atmosphere, that great decor, fireplace and artwork. There is also seating for the warmer months outside, easy access from hwy 2. portion sizes could be a bit bigger, but all in all was a great little stop while in Nanton, ABFood: 3/5
The owner extended his work hours for us. How gracious of him. Service was excellent. The food serving was huge and absolutely delicious. It was cozy inside. The owner took time to talk to us. I highly recommend this restaurant/cafe when you visit Nanton.
Stopped into this place after sampling some local brewery tasting rooms. Wasn't expecting the best Cannelloni I've ever had. Loved the Ceasar salad starter as well. Owner is a really nice fella. Told us some stories from Italy. Great experience. Will visit again.
Food and Service Excellent. Stopped in here on a bike trim in June 2022 with my 13yo Daughter and we were soaked and frozen. It was like landing home to Mama... The owner looked after us so well with soup, coffee and cake. Such a nice man. Thanks sooo much from the Irish Bikers. D & Lu. Parking: Lots of Parking, even for Semi's..
If you ever pass through Nanton, take the time to stop here for a bite to eat! Its a really beautiful little place. The owner is so nice and there are some wonderful options for you to choose from! Everything from pasta, sandwhiches, desserts, coffee to boozy drinks!
What an adorably cute little restaurant in Nanton. Simple menu of good basics that are super delicious. The what I suspect is the owner is so so friendly. Quiet. Intimate. COVID friendly. I’m so happy I was driving through and found this little place. Also authentic Italian preserves and art are for sale. Really enjoyed this little gem.
After a pleasant visit to the local bomber museum, we thought of sampling some Nanton food. The cafe was elegant in all respects. Great friendly service, intimate atmosphere, fabulous food. Definitely would stop here again when in the neighbourhood.
Cozy warm. Great cappuccino. First time ever having Borscht. Delicious. Awesome Saskatoon berry pie. Friendly welcoming owner
I have to so it is best italian food they serve. The pasta come with rich olive oil that some garlic taste . The onion soup is soft and tasty .Oil on the top keep it warm longer time . Will back next time .
Stopped in here for a quick lunch and was so disappointed with the service and food. As a trained French / Italian Chef myself I expected a delicious Italian meal. From the moment I walked in I was rushed. I was given 1 minute with the menu didn’t see anything I wanted so I looked at the special board and saw Chicken Parmigiana with Spaghetti for $23. I ordered that and thought I would get a beautiful pounded out crispy breaded chicken cutlet with Real parmigiano reggiano with a nice red sauce and spaghetti cooked al dente. What I actually got was a soggy, no more then 5oz piece of chicken breast that must have been boiled in the sauce with some mozzarella on top and overcooked spaghetti floating in a watery tomato sauce. I would have been nice if they brought out a piece of garlic bread to sop up the watery sauce with. It was like they didn’t care about what they served. I didn’t want to make a scene over it so I ate what I could and paid 30$ with tip for one of the worst Italian meals I have ever had. Somebody had mentioned that the owner was a trained Italian chef. I find that impossible with the food that was served. I will never go back and will not recommend to anyone that passed through. I should have just gone to sweet queen and got a donair for 12$.
