For restaurants, they are unreliable. They are ALWAYS out of stock of essential items. Things like your type of flour and your to go cups, which makes you look elsewhere. Their produce is unreliable: many times they're out of stock, or the quality of it is really bad especially the cucumbers. They have some angry employees, like the dairy fridge guy. The prices are not the lowestnHaving said that, I still go their because the location is convenient, and you get to know the rest of the emloyees so it feels like home after a while
We stumbled in here by accident one day and were so pleased to find it. I've heard others compare it to Costco - which, I wouldn't say they're the same. First, you don't need to pay to shop there, and I would say the selection of items is a bit more specific here ie, grocery and food business supplies only. We mostly go for bulk raw ingredients, like beans, rice, legumes, etc. We've recently started purchasing some produce here as we have found its excellent quality and is often competitively priced. If you are cautious and know your average pricing on certain staples ie, milk, eggs, onions, etc there are often good deals here. Be cautious though on frozen and meat products as I have found them to be higher than average on these items. I've also recently discovered their huge inventory of takeout containers which are great for potlucks and such at work. Not a big fan of needing $1 to use a cart, and also wish employees would not smoke directly in front of the entrance. Other than that, a good place to shop in bulk if you know what you're looking for and what a competitive price is.

Bought a case of grapefruit Ting 3weeks ago for around $37. Went in last week and it was out of stock, but told it would be back. Came in today to find it had been restocked, but the case was now $71.nThat is 100% increase in a week!nThis product is currently in the flyers sale for way less at the regular superstores.nHappy to take my bulk purchases to Costco and not be gouged.
First time here. Good prices on items and plenty of selection especially for larger size and bulk items.
