Whitecourt Lions Campground

Staff is awful, very unpleasant and unaccomidating. Quite rude. The camp ground is expensive and you pay per person, not per site/unit. Power sites have you packed in like sardines... bathrooms are gross and dirty. Don't stay here... Very noisy place to stay as its by the highway and the golf cart lady is atrocious and nosy... patrols the park like a creepy hawk. . Awkward After traveling over 6 hours and looking for a place to rest our heads for the night, Before continuing on home tomorrow... we made a mistake coming here. save your money, privacy and sanity... DO NOT STAY HERE

A very nice place to camp with the family! A safe area for kids to play, there is a playground area for the kids. It's quiet and respectful here. The owners are friendly and respectable people, they strive to keep the area clean, quiet and family/senior orientated! Full hook ups! Friendly neighboring people! The Kids have a lot of fun. I highly recommend

Nice campground, well organized with power and sites. Some full service sites but in open or near highway. Firewood is expensive but camp fees are not.

FHU, pull thru sites, playground for the littles, laundry and showers. Although it is near the hwy, it is peaceful enough for a good night's rest before we march on down the road.

This lovely little campsite is run with pride and care. The hosts were wonderful, the campsite was well kept, and the bathrooms/showers were fantastic! Thank you for your thoughtfulness and hard work! The cat liked it too!

Very noisy..trucks on highway 200 yards away.. engine Jake brakes all night...flush toilet is an outhouse still with a saloon door that is almost higher than the toilet seat?

Manager lady is a very rude person. No privacy. Terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend camping here ever. Be prepared for warnings and a kick out without notice. Watch out for golf cart bit*h

Gave 3 stars cause i have never actually stayed here, just wanted the caretakers to know i had planned on staying here Aug 4th until i read the reviews. I will not be subjecting myself to that kind of behaviour. There are harrassment and assault accusations dating back as long as 5 years. Do better. I have spoken to the Lions Club and they will be reassessing affiliation.

Perfect overnight. Handy to highway so road noise to deal with. But clean friendly with large sites.

Beautiful campground, very neat and clean. Amazing hosts, so very friendly and helpful. One of the nicest campgrounds we have been to. Very reasonable in price. Big sites. We will definitely be coming back here often! Highly recommend this campground to families.
