I’ve been going here for several years now. It’s always a 10/10 experience. I appreciate so much that they offer several non dairy drink options. Their seasonal drinks are always exceptional. As well as my usual, oat milk latte. They have vegan and gluten free food options which I really appreciate . A few times I have asked about the pour over coffee of the day. Every time they have kindly explained the different flavours and notes I can expect in the beans. When we order hot chocolate, and they see we have our kids with us. They go out of their way to make sure it’s cooler and not too hot for them, without us having to ask. They always acknowledge and say hello to me and to my kids when we come in. One experience in particular sticks out to me. I had forgotten to specify oat milk for my latte. She was about to start steaming my milk, and I said oh I’m so sorry I forgot to say oat milk! I want to pay for the up charge on the oat milk. I insisted a few times. She said kindly, no worries at all. It happens. It made me feel appreciated as a customer. We also get all of our coffee beans from here. This would definitely be my daily coffee run place if they had a drive through. phenomenal service & staff. always top quality brews & bakings. i love the seasonal flavors they come out with. this is just the place to visit if you're needing a pick-me-up & some quiet space to read, write or meditate. also an aesthetic place to hang out & chat with some friends. Dietary restrictions: i appreciate the availability of oat & coconut substitutes for my lattes.
I tried whitecap again for the first time in years, this morning. Pleasant atmosphere upon entry. Despite knowing my order in advance and having little interaction with the staff, they all seem friendly. Paid ~$6 for a large mocha with whipped cream… Not sure if they mixed up my order, or just have an interesting take on mocha, but whatever I had was good nonetheless. I sat upstairs for about an hour to kill time, and it went by quickly. When it was time to go, I had a hard time mustering the will to stand up, as I’d made myself quite comfortable. Overall, good experience.
first time here! love it! add on to my review: I was here again and I wanna add that the atmosphere here has the vibes. and the iced lattes here have quality!! DEFINITELY stop here if your coming through winkler anyway.

I can't even begin to describe how delicious their pastries are. Our kids love the monster cookies, I love the berry and lemon bars. I have always liked tea, but I got the strawberry Earl Grey 16oz iced this afternoon and it was DIVINE!!! So good! Thanks for the yummy treats before a busy weekend!

Best hot chocolate I’ve ever had in a restaurant!!!!! Not too sweet, but nice and creamy and spicy
This place is quite expensive. $5 medium size coffee drink and overpriced sweets. But the coffee they brew tastes really good, the ambiance of the place is very modern, I like how they played with industrial style, making the place feel inviting.
wow what a great coffee shop environment! the upstairs is super cool. the seasonal drink I had was alright, but nothing crazy delicious. also it was a hot drink that I ordered but it was lukewarm when I received it.
