White Spruce on the Lake

Lovely RV resort. We came in September 2022. A lot of partying and music going on around us after 11 pm which surprised us based on the resort description that we liked. Here is hoping that 2023 will be more peaceful after 11 pm because it is a well cared for resort.

I owned my own business for 25 years and when any of my employees or myself made a mistake it was my moral and ethical responsibility to correct the matter at my expense. Lovely campground but ?????

Going on our 3rd season. Love it here! We cannot wait to head to the lake every weekend. Yes there are rules but its really all common sense and respect others and be safe. We have no thoughts of leaving. The people we meet here are so fantastic and are now new friends

did they demolish what was left of the Wendigo Hotel that burned down in the 80s?

UPDATE: I THINK PEOPLE CAN SEE BY THE MANAGERS RESPONSE, THE HIGH ARROGANCE. FIRST JORDON, THE RENTAL WAS IN MY HUSBANDS NAME. SECONDLY, I SAID THE OWNER, NOT THE MANAGER. THIRD, WE HAVE CAMPED FOR YEARS AND CONSIDER OURSELVES EXPERIENCED. WHILE WHITESPRUCE IS NICE LOOKING, IT WAS STILL OVER THE TOP WITH RULES FOR NOT ONLY US, BUT OTHERS WHO SHARED OUR EXPERIENCES. THIS IS THE ONLY CAMPGROUND OF AT LEAST 30 WE HAVE STAYED IN OVER THE YEARS THAT WAS UNPLEASANT WHERE WE WERE MADE TO FEEL LIKE CRIMINALS. SOME CAMPGROUNDS WEREMORE APPEALING THAN OTHERS, BUT THIS IS THE ONLY ONE WE FOUND TO BE OUTRIGHT RUDE AND ARROGANT. LASTLY, IT IS OVERPRICED BY COMPARISION TO MANY OTHERS WE HAVE STAYED AT. AND...BTW, WHAT WAS INSENSTIVE IS A FAMILY BEING CHASTIZED BECAUSE THIER CHILD WITH A LUNG DESEASE WAS COUGHING AND IT ANNOYED THE PEOPLE NEXT DOOR WHO WERE ENTERTAINING THE OWNER. IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PANDEMIC. CHILDISH OF YOU TO REFERENCE THAT. EVEN LESS IMPRESSED AFTER YOUR RESPONSE AND MORE SO THE REASON I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS CAMPGROUND TO ANYONE. WE HAVE SECURED A SPOT IN ANOTHER CAMPGROUND WHERE WE FEEL WELCOME, THE OWNERS ARE PLEASANT, SINCERE AND DOWN TO EARTH. MUCH NICER ENVIRONMENT WHERE WE CAN REALLY RELAX AND ENJOY INSTEAD OF WALKING ON EGGSHELLS. We are a quiet family and were looking for a family campground so we were excited to get a spot here after all the good things we heard. It was awful. If we could give it a -100 we would. We left after two seasons along with a number of others. The owner is arrogant, and a control freak beyond excess. At first we appreciated his efforts to keep order, but it didn't take long for it to become more of a military camp rather than a campground for families. Plus, we were forced to buy everything through him and were threatened to be kicked out if we purchased goods from a town supplier. He would allow his friends to be noisy but god forbid if a camper's child had a cold and coughed throughout the night, they would be read the riot act. Never in all our years of camping have we ever experienced something so bizarre. I don't comment or rate businesses my first but when I saw some of these 5 stars reviews were written by their friends, I felt I had to share our real life experience. We would absolutely not recommend this campground to any family looking for a quiet, enjoyable camping experience.That is probably why there is such high turnover of campers. Tall Timber is a much better location if you can get a spot.

Beautiful, well cared for location. Great place to kick back by the lake or fire.
