We really enjoyed our stay here last year over August long weekend. There was 3 families in our group and they parked us in a beautiful group spot. It was easy to book, the lady on the phone was friendly and easy to deal with.nnThe private beach is by far the best part. Our kids all ranged in age from 2 years to 10 and they all enjoyed the beach so much. The campsite was clean, there’s an area to walk the dog and it’s close to other local marinas and boat launches.nnThis is a lovely little family camping spot.
The woman who runs this campground has a serious superiority complex! She seemed nice enough for the first 2 mins during check-in. After you get checked in she escorts you to your spot. Once we got to the spot she had for us she gave a bunch of hand signals to back in, she made the motion that we had to go around so we head on our way, we’ll as we’re making our way in the direction she seemed to send us she rips up on her golf cart and slams her hand down for us to stop and then gets off and starts laying into us that we went the wrong way and just loosing it, then proceeded to jump back into the cart and speed away telling us she has to go get her husband because we couldn’t possibly be capable of backing up our own Motorhome.. we finally got into our spot but we’re not happy about how rude she was! We would have left if it hadn't been for having family there that we haven’t had the joy of seeing since the covid-19 pandemic started. I didn’t feel any better learning she had then done the exact same thing to a gentlemen the very next day, he also went the wrong way hmm seems strange but she seemed to think it was okay to lay into this guy with his two young kids in the truck!! I don’t normally write reviews like this as everyone can have a bad day but this woman needs to chill out! You run a campground, nothing is that bad you need to ride around on your golf cart wheeling your power like its the end of the world!
Just back from our yearly visit to WhiteSands Resort in Joussard.. you cant ask for better hostess up there.. the place is so clean all the time.. Deb is always on the move.. she doesn't miss anything.. they have a playground next to the little pond for playing in.... cant wait to go back next year
Excellent place, very friendly people around here and very close to the boat launch. Only stayed here as a guest but was satisfied with my stay on all occasions I visited.
They have a pond that we were able to swim in on hot days , it made for an amazing trip
