During first 2 weeks of May you can catch a lot of mother fish. Happy fishing no permit required.
Great area! Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the River from. I come here to use my RC Jet /Air boats, lots of fun playing with the rapids and it's nice that the river is fairly shallow! I always come here when I need a bit of nature and don't feel like driving far.
This is a beautiful little spot for families, especially those with small kids. My 8 year old loved the little trail. The sculptures and artwork around the trail make it very interesting and the information provided is also great for kids and adults to learn. We enjoyed our afternoon here very much!
This is a really nice spot with some sheltered picnic tables right next to the water. I spent many days as a kid fishing here. There are some monuments and a trail that show the history and significance of this area. Definitely a great place to visit if you are in the area.
